Fishing has been great on the King Ranch fishing for trouts on a popping cork with plastic lures. Also drifting Baffin Bay with a popping cork on live shrimp.

Black drum and redfishing has been very good down in Baffin Bay. These cold fronts have them hungry! The red snapper bite has also been fantastic when the wind allows us outside of the jetties!

Fishing has been great. Black drum and reds are up shallow and have been wading for trout as well with artificials. Big ones are on the prowl.

Not many trips this time of year because of deer season and the holidays but I have been doing pretty good the last few trips out. Tons of drum, along with redfish, trout, and even some really nice sheepshead showing up.

Flounder gigging is banned in the state of Texas from November 1- December 15 To let alot of the spawning females successfuly spawn. The rest of the year I gig January and February are more for drum and sheepshead And a few flounder here and there depending on how cold

My husband and I are seniors and Jodie and Justin took very good care of us. The boat was clean and spacious for the 4 of us and Jodie handled the travel portion well, no bucking in wakes. We each had a guide to bait, cast, and net our catch. They also cleaned our fish and bagged for freezing. Caught our limits and had a very good morning. Jodie went above and beyond to make our experience good. We will definitely be calling Jodie again. 5 star Captain.

We caught about 8 additionall redfish that we threw back…along with the huge tarpon my husband caught. And the area we fished was absolutely gorgeous. A dream fishing trip!!! Had a great time on a guided fly fishing trip in Port A with Chandler. It was a windy day, which made casting and poling the skiff a bit challenging, but Chandler stayed positive and was super helpful. I didn’t catch any fish this time, but he gave me great tips to improve my casting. The skiff didn’t have a seat, so I sat on the floor which is totally fine for me solo but something to consider if you’re going with someone else or need more comfort. Overall, a good experience and I’d definitely book with him again!
