Key West has had perfectly calm summer camp conditions with lots of sargasso grass to be found that is holding a lot of Mahi-Mahi. You can pretty much count on filling the box with some nice fish on 8 or 6 hour offshore trip. The current hasn't been terrible so we've been able to do some really good deep dropping although snowy grouper was closed early. We're still picking up a lot of good blue tiles. Update 6/12 fished south today and caught a sail right off in about 200 ft. Pushed in to the ledge and fought scattered grass. Could not keep the lines clean Managed 3 dolphin and pulled the hook on a large dolphin We have openings next week and weekend fishing has been good for the most part but the scattered weed put a damper on catching.

Sharks are working the sandbars around the inlet. Im using crab on the bottom for Bonnethead and fresh cut bait fish for blacktips, bull and lemon. Mangroves are biting on the out going tide off the rocks and oysters bars... im doing good in the 6' depth. Redfish and snook bite is first thing in the am with 85 plus degree water.
