Water levels have come up, and the fish have scattered out a little bit. You’ve got to work for them right now, but once you find fish, stay with them. The bite has been fantastic when you get around them.
Lake Okeechobee has been a little on and off lately. Water levels are still low overall but are slowly coming up. We could use some stable weather to really get things going. Once conditions settle in, expect the bass bite to fire up.

May was an incredible month aboard the Hooked Up Sport Fishing off the coast of South Florida! Charter fishing has been outstanding, with an abundance of blackfin tuna, sailfish, and a great start to the grouper season. While we didn't snap too many grouper photos, we did land a gorgeous yellow edge grouper! The weather was fantastic, though the Sargasso weed gave us a few mixed days but we adapted and kept the bites coming.

Summer fishing is kicking off with a blast. The peacocks and largemouth are active and hungry. As the water temperatures continue to warm up and as we get more rain, the bite is only going to get better. We’re catching anywhere between 8-20+ fish during our 2hr trip and 20-30+ during our 4hr trips!
