Weekly Report (2/13-2/21/26): We are still catching good numbers of sheepshead & puppy drum on live shrimp & large black drum on cracked crab at Galveston Jetties. We are starting to see a few speckled trout and slot redfish. Best bite has been in the mornings on tidal changes.

I have fished all over the world from Canada to the Amazon New Mexico to Louisiana and this was the absolute worst trip I was ever on when we got done the captains that the boys told us well don’t go through them just come to us direct and it was so lousy I wouldn’t bother. I didn’t want to give a bad review but you ask again.

I had the best trip out with Captain Leb and his brother. As a VERY novice fisherman, I felt comfortable and at ease. They taught me so much and time just flew by. I cannot recommend this charter enough- they are kind, funny, and of course knowledgeable. Bonus: it was just me, a female, on the trip. Felt like I was fishing with two of my brothers. Can’t wait to get back down here.
