If you've been looking for a terrific fishing experience off of Orange Beach, Alabama, then this could be the trip for you! Captain Rob has been fishing the Gulf Coast his entire life, and you'll have a blast whether you're an advanced fisherman, still a beginner, or a vacationer looking to spice up your summer trip. On this trip, you'll be targeting the inshore waters where a wide variety of great gamefish like to hang out. You'll be sightcasting for cruising Cobia, hitting the shore for Redfish, jigging the rocks and reefs for Triggerfish, Flounder, and Snappers, and even going after fast fish like Spanish Mackerel. On especially clear, calm days, there's also the possibility of going a little further out to chase Kingfish or even Mahi. Let Captain Rob know if you're interested in going after a specific species, and he'll make sure you'll have the right tackle on. He's also happy to give you some tips and tricks for bringing big fish over the rail, so you'll leave this trip a better fisherman than when you started. You'll be fishing from the deck of Captain Rob's 24' Kenner center console. She's fast and stable and will put you on the fish in a hurry! She also features standard electronics, including GPS and a fishfinder, and is fully kitted out for a comfortable and successful trip. Captain Rob will bring everything you need, including rods, reels, live bait, and tackle. trip description for Chasing Trophies in Destin in Destin

Head out for a full day 12-hour adventure with Captain Lane to go DEEEEP to hunt trophy size fish the blue waters are known for! For these trips you'll start your day well before sunrise, usually around 5am, as you climb aboard Captain Lane's absolute War Rig. His 42' Freeman Catamaran is built for offshore fishing, overnight runs out to the hump, and landing monster pelagics. For these 12 hour trips, you can run anywhere from 25-90 miles offshore! But don't fret a laborious slow trug offshore... with 4 300 Yamahas strapped to the stern this rig can cook up to 65 knots to make sure you waste no time getting out to Captain Lane's favorite offshore spot and gives you more time to fish on the back end as the ride is quicker back to the dock. You can talk with Captain Lane about your experience level, target species, and other comfort preferences before you make the run, so ultimately you have the say in how far offshore you'd like to run. But if weather conditions are right, and you're up for a voyage, this 12 hour trips is where a lot of dreams come true, and where truly fantastic catches can be made. Heading 60+ miles offshore, standard offshore species are all well with a range like Amberjack, Mahi Mahi, Big Red and Gag Grouper, Wahoo, Sailfish and Blackfin Tuna. But on top, the extra time opens the door to deep water species like Yellow Fin Tuna, Marlin, and even Swordfish. By no means are any of these species a shoo-in for your 12-hour trip, but the odds of catching a big game fish like that do exist. It's that chance, that chase, that catch (hopefully) that attracts avid fishermen to this trip. Captain Lane will provide all rods, reels, tackle, and fishing licenses. All you need to bring is sunglasses, sunscreen, a lunch, and any snacks or drinks you'd like to enjoy while onboard. Read More

We were set up to go out with Joey, but there was a last minute change to Captain Taylor. He was a very knowledgeable and patient guide and was great with the kids. Weather was cool and cloudy to start, but he eventually put us on some fish and was a great family experience. It was a catch and release trip which was slightly disappointing but hey, still had a blast. Would definitely book again, hope to return for an offshore experience soon!! Thank you Captain Taylor!!!

Jake was a great Captain for our Inshore Fishing Trip. He worked really hard and was very respectful and did all he could to help us take some fish home. The conditions weren't perfect, but that's fishing. I would recommend Jake to anyone looking for a family fishing trip inshore.

My son and I had a great experience with Capt. Rob. We didn't have the best weather for our trip, but Capt. Rob gave us plenty of options to put us on the fish. We will certainly book with Capt. Rob again.

Troy provided an amazing fishing trip for our crew. He was kept busy re-baiting hooks for a crew of 6, and never showed signs of it being a bother to him. Troy was very concerned that we had a memorable trip and provided several locations for us to try our luck to reel in the big ones! Thanks, Troy!!

This was a complete blast! Tom really knows what he’s doing too. He was patient with us, and our ultra newbie grandson from Phoenix. He taught him how to catch mackerel and pompano. He went the extra mile to find the fish and show us how to land them. We highly recommend !

Rob S. with Tom M. of Orange Beach, Alabama

Captain Rob was excellent! Was not a good day for fishing, not good for all that day. Had stormed the night before. We still caught bass, black snapper, and a stingray. It was fun and will do it again!!! Thank you Captain Rob for a great experience! ~Tammy and birthday brother

We Loved Captain Shawn! He was patient, helpful and very engaging. If the fish weren’t biting in one spot he’d move to another. We caught a variety of species and was knowledgeable about every one we caught . He realized how excited I was to see the dolphins so he got them to jump in our waves from the boat. Every time we saw them he was sure to try to get them to interact with us. His boat was very nice and clean, you could tell he loved his boat. IT WAS AWESOME! We plan on a second trip with him to do offshore fishing next. We enjoyed his inshore trip and hospitality! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! One more thing… although we didn’t bring our 10 year old son I definitely would not hesitate to take him out on a Captain Shawn’s boat! He’s a family man, I could tell he would do great with younger passengers as well.

Shannon P. with Shawn S. of Bon Secour, Alabama
