Fishing was pretty rough. Caught two bait fish and a few yellow tails under 12" long. We understood the fishing may be a little tough with the windy weather but seemed like we were just wasting time. New first mate. We hoped to catch a few fish to eat but spent more time trying to anchor (three times) with no luck. Im not an ocean fishing guide but have spent a few hours on my own boat and when its too windy and too much current to anchor I will usually head to a new area. Wish we would have tried a new spot or two and possibly a new tactic. We could have went to a bridge pillar and caught a few fish to eat. Would not recommend if the fishing may be tough.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip! Captain Larson made our son’s wishes come true of catching a barracuda and a shark. He was very attentive and patient as we learned how to fish with the different reels. Thank you for making our trip one we will always remember!!
