Depending on conditions, you might hook into Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Blacktip Shark, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Jack Crevalle, and anything else that bites. Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! For baby life vests please ask ahead of time, these are not typically kept in the boat unless requested. Captain Corey has four kids (two teenagers, and two under the age of five) therefore, he keeps a "Kids Only Snack Stash" on the boat, just remember to send over any allergies ahead of time! Your adventure begins aboard a 23’ Sea Pro center console with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself. A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary. We will meet at a predetermined location that is best for you and provides quick access to fishing. I provide the rods, reels, tackle and bait for the day. I just need you to bring your drinks and snacks in a small cooler and to make sure everyone has a valid fishing license. We will fish from my 24’ Sea Pro with Suzuki 200 hp engine to get there fast, using live bait most days; we will fish reefs, jetties or other structure around Galveston Bay. Once we are done we will return to the dock where I will clean and filet your fish and package them in gallon ziplock bags. Do we fish if it’s raining or windy? Safety is a priority. If there are severe storms in the area or if the wind is out of control, I’ll suggest we delay or try to reschedule the trip. There’s no sense in going out and being uncomfortable, and I will never put us in danger. But if it’s just a little rain, let’s go – the fish are already wet! Read More

Hiring a guide provides a number of benefits and many choose to book a fishing guide for a combination of experience, local knowledge, convenience, and cost-effectiveness.

Working with experienced fishing guides who know the best local spots and techniques can dramatically increase your odds of a great day. Having someone who is on the water every day and knows the area like the back of their hand is going to give you the best chances of success.

Booking a guide is also more cost effective, especially if you only get out a handful of times per year. I wanted to take a moment to share my recent fishing experience with anyone who will listen. During my trip, I had the pleasure of being guided by Corey, who I must say was by far the best guide I have ever encountered. Corey's knowledge and expertise not only extended to the fish and the area, but also to boats in general. Within minutes of conversing with him, I felt like I had known him for years. His ability to make me feel comfortable and at ease was truly remarkable. To top it all off, Corey helped me catch the biggest fish I've ever caught! His professionalism, respectfulness, and sense of humor made the trip both enjoyable and memorable. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate him a solid 10 without hesitation. I highly recommend Corey's services to everyone, from seasoned fishermen to novices. Even my wife, who isn't a big fan of fishing, was thoroughly impressed with Cory and his exceptional service. I had initial doubts about today's trip, but thanks to Corey, it turned out to be an incredible experience.

Son and I had a awesome trip with Capt Danny. Wind was blowing but found birds and found lots of fish. Main goal was to put my son on some nice redfish and last stop paid off with four redfish in less than 20 minutes. Would have liked one slot but that is why they call it fishing and I’ll take 4 rats over nothing any day. We did get some specs and sand trout to take home. Best part was back at the dock when we rigged up a sand trout and son Hooked into a huge alligator gar that he fought for almost ten minutes. Thanks again for a enjoyable trip.

Rob R. with Mike S. of Hitchcock, Texas

Fantastic trip! Captain was awesome and very knowledgeable. Would want our same Captain Danny again. Worth every penny I paid!!!!
