While setting up decoy spreads never hurt if you'd like to bring your own, Captain Tim prefers to do his scouting ahead of time, head up the river, and find a brushed-in spot on the bank to give him prime time passing shots as ducks fly low heading from roost to feed, and cove to cove as boaters flush them up throughout the morning. Wading shorelines with lures or live bait. It is your trip and wants you to have fun. He fishes primarily for reds, speckled trout and black drum. If you catch a limit of the targeted species or they are simply not bitting, he will always look for feeding fish to catch.
