Step aboard a 31-foot Tiara Open and get ready to chase some of the most exciting freshwater species in North America on beautiful Lake St. Clair. Running from May through July, these trolling charters are an absolute blast for groups of one to five anglers. Whether you're targeting Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Perch, or whatever else decides to hit your line, these trips offer a dynamic and action-packed day on the water.

Lake St. Clair is known for its incredible multi-species potential, and you’ll have the chance to experience it all while trolling some of the lake’s most productive zones. With a seasoned and knowledgeable crew at the helm, you’ll be in great hands as you chase a wide variety of fish. These pros bring top-tier fishing electronics, expertly selected tackle, and years of experience that help ensure a successful and memorable trip.

Your vessel for the day is a 1990 Tiara 3100 Open, a 31-foot yacht that combines capability with comfort. Built by Tiara S2 Yachts, it features a spacious 12-foot beam, a cozy dinette, galley, and head—perfect for keeping your group comfortable no matter the weather. Whether you're enjoying the ride or focusing on reeling in your next big catch, this boat has everything you need for a great time on the water.

All fishing equipment is provided, including rods, reels, and tackle. Just show up with the essentials for a day outdoors. Sunglasses and sunblock are a must, and dressing in layers is highly recommended—think hat, jacket, and sweatshirt to stay prepared for changing conditions. Comfortable boat shoes, tennis shoes, or water shoes are great options for footwear, but avoid flip flops and black-soled shoes. Don’t forget rain gear, just in case, along with your favorite snacks, plenty of water, and any daily medications you may need. If you’re prone to motion sickness, bringing Dramamine is a good idea. And of course, you’ll want a camera to capture the highlights of your trip.

You will need to purchase a one-day fishing license, but hold off on buying it until the day before your trip. The crew will let you know whether you’ll be fishing Ontario or Michigan waters, depending on the season and weather conditions. This way, you’re covered for whatever the day brings and won’t waste money in case of a weather-related reschedule.

Capt. Kurt grew up fishing Lake St Clair with his Dad and Grandfather. Muskie fishing was in the family starting with his great grandfather. Kurt has worked with many charter captains to fine tune his knowledge of all things Lake St Clair fishing!

Muskies are Kurt’s specialty and passion but he’s no stranger to big bass, perch and walleye too! Kurt, his dad and crew spend as many days as possible out of the year on the water. Putting in the time and work to give you the best fishing experience.

We now also offer Detroit River walleye fishing in the spring. The Detroit River Walleye run is world famous. Captain Kurt has spent many hours learning the river and perfecting his vertical jigging skills to bring up limited of delicious walleye. Now we can pass along his expertise to help clients experience the thrill of the river!

All gear is included, but we also recommend bringing sunglasses, sunscreen, weather-appropriate clothing, and anything else you might want on the trip.

You'll need to buy a fishing license before getting out there. Find out more about licenses here.

We use a cashless autopay system. We'll send you a boarding pass, and on the day of the trip, your guide will scan your boarding pass to automatically transfer the remaining balance. The only cash needed is to tip your guide (we recommend 20%).

Cancel for free up to 14 days before the trip and receive credit back to your account. Cancelling within 14 of the trip will forfeit your deposit to the guide. Day-of cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full balance of the trip to their card.

In the event of inclement weather you'll be covered by out 100% Weather Guarantee and will not lose your deposit.

Additional costs may include leases, marina or slip fees, and the expenses involved in providing and maintaining the necessary gear for your trip.
