Hey there Ian! Still on the grind for white sturgeon on the Sacramento River! With high river flows more sturgeon are showing up every day! I suspect February and March are going to be 'Off the hook!

2022 was another stellar year shared with lifetime friends, clients, and the local fishing community. Here are our Top 3 Catches of the past year from left to right 👉🏼
1. 143lb Bluefin Tuna (43 on the year for the boat)
2. 47lb California Halibut (over 200 on the year for the boat)
3. 26lb King Salmon

Putah Creek is somewhere I have a long history with, one of the original "Home Waters" I have been guiding since 1984 along with the Stanislaus, Calaveras and Mokelumne rivers.
When asked about my favorite places to fish or guide, I always share the fact that Putah is perhaps the most exciting still because at certain times of the year, you never know what you may hook into! I can't tell you how many clients have caught or hooked fish that would be considered the fish of a lifetime....
