Big hex flys are starting but the cool night temps have been keeping hatches slight, the best is yet to come on them as July heats up! Despite the hex flies trout fishing has been steady on both fly gear and conventional fishing. All of our warm water species are in full swing and fishing well

Most of them were TANKS. A 5 pounder was caught as well. Very recommended for a family or group of friends. Musky trip next !

    Fished with Captain Justin on Muskegon Lake for walleyes on Sunday, September 14 from 4-8 pm. We fished 6 lines with planer boards and did not have a strike. Sometimes that is fishing. I still plan to book another trip next year.

    The trip with Captain Fred was great! My boys enjoyed immensely as did I ! I highly recommend Fred but I also highly recommend using a different platform, this one charges too much, 15% from the captain and another $72 from the client. $200 is a a quarter of the cost of the trip charge . Airbnb and Vrbo don’t charge that much.
