The Dog Days of Summer What can be said, it is HOT!, the weather that is. Catching redish and trout freelining live shrimp or croaker along the rocks. If you move away from the jetties out on the beach front its sharks aplenty with cut bait. As we move thru August and into September the over sized Red drum (Bull Reds) will start showing in the channel and surf. Have to get out early and get it done.

Trout and redfish bite has been on fire all month. Fish pods of mullet on flats edges and bars. Topwater Bute has been great first of the morning and live bait and soft plastics later in the morning.
