Big fish are always fun and exciting to catch, most people fish to catch some fish for dinner, but there are always trophy hunter out there, people post big fish, but they are kinda rare, although there are days when it's magical, The stars align and BAM you fill the boat, like when Jesus said....throw your nets over the side, it's amazing when people have faith and passion And confidence....it just happens, I've seen it not once but many times when people are Confident,, they catch, the negative don't , so my advice is come and have a great attitude and be blessed with abundance! The water is gods paradise and he wants us to enjoy his creation! Come have some fun!!

Fishing the bay for giant sheep head is now on! Fast action white trout especially for the kids is doing very well this winter too. Some pompano and Spanish mackerel are being caught fishing for white trout. Gulf fishing for flounder and fast fun light tackle reef fish like speckled rock hind, scamp grouper, and vermillion snapper on calm seas days is "the easy button". Red grouper is now open and there's good ones to be kept especially on a five or six hour trip getting down the beach on some good natural rock bottom reefs.

Winter patterns are holding great, lots of black drum and redfish holding close to shorelines. Most catches have been caught on shrimp. We've had several trips this past weekend that have caught limits!

With the cooler clean Crystal Clearwater site Fishing has been at its best catching great numbers of redfish, black drum and speckled sea trout. I expect with the weather forecast over the next couple weeks for the bike to remain very good and the site Fishing to be at its best January and February can be some of the best fishing in the Mosquito lagoon
