Just 20min from the French Quarter, you can be boarding the boat, heading out with Captain James to fish Lake Pontchartrain and the surrounding backwater marshes for Redfish, Trout, and Drum with Captain James. These full day trips leave from "The Dock" in Slidell around 6-6:30am and run until around 1pm sometime alittle longer.
