Captain Stan will tailor your trip any way you choose! He provides inshore fishing in both Matagorda Bay and the Middle Texas Coast. He’ll take you to the flats where you can wade fish or fish from the boat. You can also drift or anchor in the back lakes for Redfish. Expect to target Black Drum, Flounder, Redfish, Sheepshead, Speckled Trout / Spotted Seatrout, Tripletail on these 5-hour (half-day) and 8-hour (full day) adventures. If you want to experience real deal deep-sea fishing, Captain Steve is your guy! This trip is 30 hours out on the water with lines in the water the hole time! You will leave the dock at the Freeport Marina around 6am and book it out 100 miles offshore where the water is between 300-1000 feet deep. You can expect to encounter some crazy specimens at these depths. Thus you'll be using heavy tackle to bring in the large snapper, 50 lb Gag & Black Grouper, big tuna, blue marlin, sailfish, swordfish and wahoo to name a few. Just let Captain Steve know if there is a species you wish to target and he will put his 30 years of experience to work to make it happen. Though you can catch them while the sun is up, most of these monster specimens like to feed at night which is why it is advantageous to stay overnight!
