You will leave the dock at the Freeport Marina around 6am and book it out 100 miles offshore where the water is between 300-1000 feet deep. You can expect to encounter some crazy specimens at these depths. Thus you'll be using heavy tackle to bring in the large snapper, 50 lb Gag & Black Grouper, big tuna, blue marlin, sailfish, swordfish and wahoo to name a few. Just let Captain Steve know if there is a species you wish to target and he will put his 30 years of experience to work to make it happen. Though you can catch them while the sun is up, most of these monster specimens like to feed at night which is why it is advantageous to stay overnight!
