Inshore: Flounder are being found around inlets, sandy cuts, docks, bridge pilings, and along channel edges. Mud minnows or finger mullet on a jighead or Carolina rig are producing best. Work the bait slowly along the bottom with short hops and pauses. Sheepshead and black drum are holding tight to structure, especially piers, bridges, rock jetties, and barnacle-covered docks. Offshore: Snapper and grouper (season-dependent) are stacked on structure such as natural bottom, ledges, and wrecks. Pelagics like mahi, wahoo, and tuna (season-dependent) are showing along rips, temperature breaks, weed lines, and color changes. Rigged ballyhoo and skirted trolling lures are working well; if fish are up, topwater action can be hot. Troll the edges and circle back to thoroughly work any floating debris.
Bottom fishing has been hot for Nov & Dec .
We have a good consistent black fin run every fall to spring or so here in the panhandle. For the last 5 or 6 years, anyway.
This year, some 100-150# yellowfins came in with the blackfins, 2 were landed on Pensacola pier. About 10 or so were hooked on the pier, fought for 3 to 5 hours on spinning gear, and lost at the pier.

Gag grouper and red snapper seasons were amazing! We look forward to focusing on amberjack, red grouper, triggerfish, almaco jacks, and vermillion. Also hope to see the blackfin tuna showing up in the next couple weeks!

If you want to have a great time and catch lots of fish, look no further!! This was such a fun experience for our family of 4. Captain Heath was the best guide ever!! We caught lots of fish and even got a chance to do a little snorkeling. We had the best time and will definitely be booking with him again asap!
Captain David was really friendly and had the knowledge it took to catch fish. He took extra time to show/teach 9 year old grandson how to catch 4 different species of saltwater fish. Thanks again captain.
Had an amazing day with Jordan, he was great with my older kids and we caught a lot of fish! He helped filet our catch of the day which was so delicious. We would hire Jordan again when we return to fish in Destin!
Brought my kids on the trip. Craig and crew were very accommodating and assisted family so I could also catch fish. Very friendly and highly recommend if bringing a family with mixed age group. Caught many snapper and get a few larger fish, grouper, Bonita, amber jack.
I will be looking up Craig for my next fishing trip in Destin.
We had a great experience with CPT. Kyle, he kept us on the fish. Ben, his deck hand was amazing and helped out tremendously. Definitely recommend this crew and boat. My family and I had a blast.
Captain Tim was awesome. We did 4 hrs with 3 kids. We were all beginners. He was a good teacher and very patient. Will definitely charter with him again!
