trip description for Orange Beach Bowfishing in Orange Beach

All equipment, licenses, and bottled water provided. For your trip you'll be cruising aboard a big and wide fan boat with an outboard and a trolling motor as well. Lights run off of batteries from a quiet Honda 2000 generator. We can go in inches of water aboard this vessel! Not to mention the front bow boasts over 5,000 watts of lights that light up the ocean floor as if it were high noon! Typical species are stingrays, sheepshead, mullet, flounder, black drum, skipjack, cownose rays, butterfly rays, and more! The water comes alive at night and there are thousands of marine creatures to be seen and most people shoot 100-200 times a night. This trip is mainly in Orange Beach and you may keep all of the fish. The stingrays can be released if you do not want to keep them. We also have charters in Gulf Shores, Perdido Key, Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Fort Walton Beach, Navarre, Destin, and more. Charters usually begin as the sun goes down. Gigging is using a long spear to harvest fish and bowfishing is shooting an arrow at the fish with a bow and reeling it in with a reel attached to the bow. Captain Dustin will help you reach your personal best on this 4-hour adventure. As mentioned, Captain Dustin will provide all bows, gigs, licenses, and drinks. Feel free to bring any food and beverages of your choice too! Don’t forget a cooler with ice to take home your day’s catch, and captain Dustin will make sure you fill it up! Read More

Marty was awesome. Extremely knowledgeable. We were all novices, but he took his time. Explained what he was doing, where we were, had some awesome stories to tell. Our guide also cancelled on us, and Marty was assigned to us by the site. I called to cancel because he was over an hour drive away, but he came to pick us up for a little gas money. What an experience. Great price. Don’t hesitate!

We had a great time fishing with Bill and Nikki. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate with us. Very windy and choppy in the Gulf that forced us to stay in the inside bay. We caught plenty of fish, and several varieties but we could on find one legal size. Highly recommend them to charter.

Captain Bobby was GREAT. The 2 hour inshore is a perfect length of time if you have kids, or if you don't know if you will enjoy fishing or not. My son has been talking about fishing forever and I found Captain Bobby via a Google search. This was the BEST DAY of our trip to Gulf Shores/Orange Beach. He's excellent and patient with kids - and will clean up your fish and cut it up and provide you with a restaurant recommendation where they will fry up your fish for you. I even caught a 40 lb Black Drum fish - and it was my first time ever fishing! 10/10.
