Up towards the surface, you'll troll and cast for Barracuda, Kingfish, Bonito,and Spanish Mackerel, while down on the bottom you'll drop lines for Grouper, Snapper, and Amberjack. Whether you're a seasoned angler or just looking to try your hand at fishing, our experienced captains and crew have got you covered. The 34' Crusader is a purpose-built fishing vessel equipped with top-of-the-line fishing gear, comfortable seating, restrooms, and all the amenities you need for a successful day on the water. Licensed to carry up to 6 passengers, this safe, clean, comfortable vessel carries state-of-the-art Furuno GPS bottom-sounder and radar and is equipped with Coast Guard approved safety equipment, EPIRB radio beacon, life preservers, flares, and throwable life ring. There is a bathroom, tuna tower, outriggers for offshore trolling, fish-fighting chairs, and plenty of seating on board. 4 hour, 5 hour, and 6 hour charters are offered in the morning and afternoon and are generally bottom fishing in winter and trolling in spring, summer, and fall. 8 hour, 10 hour, and 12 hour charters require a morning departure (7am at the latest) and are the perfect length for bottom fishing, trolling, and live baiting. Looking to spend a day on the calm inshore waters off of Holmes Beach and reel in some big fish? Join Captain Robert and go after big Mangrove Snapper, Sheepshead, Spotted Seatrout, Snook, and Redfish on this fun trip. Not only are these fish great to catch, they're also delicious on the grill, in the oven, or otherwise. In particular, Snappers and Redfish are known as great table fare. There will also be chances to catch Tarpon, the "Silver King" of Florida, which are incredible fighting fish! You'll be fishing using mostly light tackle techniques, but depending on the depth, you might also drop your tackle deeper and jig to get the Groupers' attention. My name is Capt. Gage. We push pole the crystal clear waters of Tarpon Springs and the surrounding waters on my 18’ ankona shadowcast in search red drum, snook, tarpon and all other sorts of fish that we may encounter. We use 9ft fly rods varying from 6wt-11wt depending on species and time of year. A typical day starts out leaving a preplanned selected location on where too launch the boat. From there we will sight fish in crystal clear water in a couple feet or less typically. You will need to have a good pair of polarized sunglasses to help see the fish in the water. All sorts of wild life can be seen on these trips as well from sea turtles, manatees and a variety of birds. Lunch can be brought and kept cold with the on board coolers.
