Tarpon are smart; they have great eyesight, they are very skittish, and sometimes they're flat out just not hungry! Being able to double-haul and make a good cast to the fish is just the first step—convincing a full-grown tarpon to actually eat your fly is a whole other business! On a normal day, Captain Randy will meet you at the dock behind the famed Lorelei Restaurant in the heart of Islamorada.
