Took me and my son out and taught us how to fish the bay; not just go out and catch fish. And yes we hit our limits while doing so. Will definitely go out with again in the future. Had a blast wade fishing.
Luis D. with Larry Bell of Aransas Pass, Texas
Larry called us the day before to check in. He offered to pick us up in Port A, which was more convenient than getting to Aransas Pass. He was a knowledgeable and friendly guide. I would use him again.

My boyfriend and I had so much fun on our trip! Capt. Larry is very knowledgeable about the native species and their behaviors. We had never exclusively fished with artificial lures before but Larry taught us techniques to properly use them. I would definitely recommend a trip with Larry to anyone!

Once again, Larry did a superb job! My older brother and I had a great full day on the most beautiful of water. I had a peak experience of my fishing life (some 55 years of fishing) with an early morning catch of two gorgeous red fish while wade fishing along a grassy bank, and then soon after the 2nd catch, having a porpoise appear some 30 yards to my right doing 5 minute display of its own style of aggressive fishing. Wow! Thank you Larry, and thanks for making both our days with you so fun. I especially appreciate how you helped my older brother have a great time in spite of his physical challenge wading.

Superb guide! We really enjoyed the fishing. Larry is a very experienced and skilled guide, a great fisherman himself and an exceptionally nice person. We booked for another full day with him already.

Aransas Pass Fishing Charters
Aransas Pass offers premier inshore fishing with direct access to Redfish Bay, Estes Flats, and Corpus Christi Bay. From tailing reds to high-quality flounder, Aransas Pass offers endless opportunities for memorable days on the water. Whether you're looking for a family outing, a day on the water, or you want to just hone some casting skills, this is the place for you.
Aransas Pass Inshore Fishing
The endless cuts, channels, and over 14,000 acres of grass flats make Aransas Pass an inshore fishing paradise. Flounder opportunities peak during their migration to the gulf from October to December. They can be caught on a rod and reel in channels or gigged in shallow water under bright light.
Speckled Trout fishing peaks between December and March but can be caught into the summer. On warm days trout can be found in shallow water and near drop-offs. If the weather turns cold, these fish will often move to deeper water. March and April tend to be the prime time for rounding up sheepshead. Throw shrimp around rocks and jetties and you are sure to get hooked on sheepshead.
Redfish on the Flats
Late summer to fall is the redfish run ahead of their winter spawn. This is when you will get the big bull reds coming in and get your shot at a new personal best. Throwing live or artificial bait around jetties, and shallow bars can bring success throughout the year. If you enjoy a challenge, sight fishing for reds on the grass flats is bound to test your skills and make your heart race.
Offshore Fishing from Aransas Pass
Aransas Pass has all the inshore action you can handle but offshore fishing trips are less common. Nearby Port Aransas will provide plenty of offshore fishing opportunities, and is only a short drive away.
