Aransas Pass Inshore Fishing

The endless cuts, channels, and over 14,000 acres of grass flats make Aransas Pass an inshore fishing paradise. Flounder opportunities peak during their migration to the gulf from October to December. They can be caught on a rod and reel in channels or gigged in shallow water under bright light.

Throw shrimp around rocks and jetties and you are sure to get hooked on sheepshead.

Great trip out with Captain Jeff. He was great with the kids and his top concern was the safety of his passengers. Once we shoved off he took us right to the fish! Caught a nice Red less than a minute after the bait hit the water, and the action continued on after that. I highly recommend Jeff!

Had a blast with Captain Jeremy. He put us on trout with the first cast and never let up finding the reds for us. This was an excellent trip. Thanks Jeff for being so attentive to all three of us. I write this review after consultation with my son and my grandson. We all collectively appreciate your over and above customer service. Three novice fishermen, one teenager, one middle aged father and one old fart grandfather and you were equally attentive to all three of us in our own language. I am particularly happy with the way you took my grandson under your arm. Correcting him when he needed correcting, teaching him when he needed teaching. It was a good trip. We will be back to see you. Mike James

We had a great trip. Were not able to get onto the the bill drum as hoped. But that seemed to be weather and water condition induced. But we did get to bring some fillets home as Josh was able to put us on some smaller drum and reds. Josh was on time and ready both days we fished. Very attentive to making sure our lines were baited and in the right spot. Very friendly. Quiet when we were quiet, but joined in on the banter when we were ribbing each other over a missed fish etc… We would fish with him again.

Jubal A. with Joshua K. of Aransas Pass, Texas

Capt. Larry is a true professional. He quickly developed realistic expectation and promptly delivered and then some. My two teenagers and I showed up never having done anything like this before. Capt. Larry explained that conditions were not ideal, but we should still catch a few. First thing took us to a proven spot, it took a little bit, but my 13-year-old daughter picked up a couple in the first 3-+- minutes. Larry knew immediately what was going on with the fish and put us all in position, we stayed pretty much in the same spot for the rest of the day and did very well. All we caught wee Redfish; we caught several in the 5.5#+ class. We had a great day. Or second day was a good day as well, each of us caught enough fish to feel like we knew what we were doing. Larry has a great way about him to make you feel comfortable and is very capable. We will come back again as long as we can fish with him. MT

This was one of the best things I ever booked. This was a surprise for my boyfriend and he had an awesome time. I came into this with very limited knowledge of fishing and left extremely confident in the fishing skills Larry had taught me. We each caught one fish, however that’s because we saw dolphins!!! I told Larry I really would like to see more dolphins and man he delivered!! Dolphins swam straight up to the boat it was amazing to see them in their natural habitat. Larry was very interested in what WE wanted to do and he was an amazing guide. I will for sure be bringing my father in law back to fish with Larry. 100% recommend!!!
