Leave ATX at 6:30 PM on Friday Jan 26th. Roll into Airbnb at 10:00pm Maybe hit a bar. Wake up at 5:30. Saturday morning, meet Trey at the port aransas ferry at 5:45 am. We'll split up into two groups, and hunt until we've killed out limits. We'll come back in grab lunch in town and decide if we want to go back out for an afternoon hunt (Possibly 100$ additional for anyone that wants to go). Thinking an oyster roast/crab boil back at the Airbnb on Saturday night. Wake up early Sunday morning to hunt again, leave hunt early so we're on the road by 12 noon. Airbnb 775 Split 10 ways This self-guided duck hunt is ideal for duck hunters with a little bit of experience under their belt, who want to bag some birds in one of America's best duck habitats. This trip is also a little less pricey than a guided trip, but you'll be shooting from the same places and the hunting is just as good. South Texas is smack in the middle of the Central Flyway, and is a stopover for dozens of migratory waterfowl species. The sheltered bays here draw hundreds of thousands of ducks annually, including Green-Winged and Blue-Winged Teals, Wigeons, Redheads, Pintails, Gadwalls, and Mottled Ducks, and more! You can target all of these species, which are exciting quarries and great eating to boot! On this trip, your outfitter, Trey, will make sure to put you in the perfect spot to nail some inbound waterfowl. He'll provide the blinds and decoys, so all you need to bring is your waders, your guns, and your shells. He'll motor you out to the blind, but once you're out there, he leaves the hunting up to you! This is an absolute Do It Yourself hunt for the experienced duck hunter who doesn't need help killing ducks! Captain Mark will ferry you're group out to an island or a duck blind out in the bay and run back to the dock to wait for ya'll to text him when you're done. Captain Mark reccomends--and most every duck hunter will agree--that you should bring your own decoy spread and duck calls to hunt over. Once Captain Mark drops you off you'll set out your decoys, brush yourself in or bring your own blind, and if you're experienced enough to handle it, blast ducks until you hit your limit. Even though Captain Mark won't be there in the blind with you, he spends all his time on the bays and knows the best spots to drop you off where ducks are flying! Read More

Trey makes it extremely straightforward for you to get out there. Even on a self-guided trip the decoys are already set up, the blind is brushed, and the Trey is waiting at the ramp in the boat to take you to the blind and pick you up at the end of your hunt. Couldn’t be easier.

Great time out there with Chase. Conditions were tough on the last weekend of the season with the tides going out and the weather heating up and Chase worked hard to mix up our spots and get us some birds. He even stayed out a little late with us to give us some extra opportunities to shoot. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to shoot some puddle ducks on the coast.

Brian did an amazing job. Hunt was smooth and had a great time. Will be back for sure!
