*Lodging and Meals Included* Optionally add on one of Cash's duck, hog, or dove listings to maximize your stay! Our Crane and Bird, Deer, Hog Hunting guides are carefully selected and matched to provide our Hunting clients with the best outdoors experience possible. Each guide is a seasoned professional hunting guide with years of hunting and client focused service experience. A typical Crane hunt involves an early morning breakfast followed by beginning the hunt one hour before sunrise. Our hunting clients typically help set up our Crane decoys and begin helping to set up our mobile Crane Blind. We prefer our clients involved in all phases of a successful Sand Hill Crane Hunt. It allows us to deploy the decoys and blind with less help in the field. The faster we set up and load out the gear after the hunt, the more time our clients have to travel. We do not wear our clients out by packing too much gear, we just ask for a little help to ensure a safe and productive experience. Sandhill cranes require far less decoys than your average goose hunt. Meals Schedule, for a typical weekend two day guided hunting package we provide one meal (Dinner) upon arrival Friday Evening and three meals Saturday (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) and one meal Sunday (Breakfast) for a total of five meals per person. We hunt Saturday & Sunday Morning with guest departure after the hunt is completed by Sunday early afternoon. Generally until limits are achieved or at 12 Noon on Sunday. Head out with Captain Patrick for the authentic St. Barthélemy fishing experience out of Gran Cul De Sac! Captain Patrick is one of the few charter captains on the island and has been honing his craft as a professional fisherman for the past 25 years. Unlike all the other charters on the island though, Captain Patrick offers something special aboard his vessel: His preferred technique for catching fish doesn't involve a rod or reel, just your hands, some gloves, and the fishing line! Now you might think, ok so we'll only be catching smaller fish then... Nope, Captain Patrick and his clients battle Bull Mahi Mahi, Speedy Wahoo, 160lb Yellow Fin Tuna, and even the occasional Blue Marlin... Without a Rod! Now Captain Patrick keeps a heavyweight rod on board as a backup, but 95% of his clients leave the boat preferring handlining to conventional rod and reel! While this may seem like a foreign concept to most, he has noticed that handlining gives you a more direct connection to the fish. With the line in your hand you can feel every move the fish makes, a much more intimate experience. All the fish caught are claimed by the Captain, but he is more than happy to share the bounty and will often send you home with enough tasty fillets for dinner. All trips are very dependent on weather, it is highly recommended that you have some buffer days around the target day of your trip in order to ensure you have the best chance of getting out on the water. Captain Patrick will pick you up right on the beach at Grand Cul De Sac. Read More

trip description for Premier Bolivian Flyfishing in Santa Cruz de la Sierra

Join Federico for this once-in-a-lifetime multi-day fishing experience! This expedition takes you through the Casare River, exploring the diverse jungle fishing scenarios for golden dorado and the variety of species present. Enjoying the comforts of Casare Camp, you will have a go at fishing key spots on the Casare River and its tributaries, concentrating on the numerous runs and structure throughout. Guests have an option at one night spent out in a fly camp, to fish further upriver and have an overnight experience in the jungle. In the vast wilderness areas of Bolivia, there are still places untouched by man, places that hold unthinkable beauty. It is in places like this that biodiversity is at its highest expression. The Casare’ River is located in an indigenous territory that boasts an unbroken expanse of jungle and incredible biodiversity. Found nestled in the meeting point between the Bolivian Amazon and the Eastern slopes of the Andes Mountains of Bolivia, it is, to say the least, one of the most isolated and remote places in the world. Its inaccessibility has granted its protection for millennia. There are few places in the world that have so many good things going on at the same time, as it happens here in our rivers. The landscape is undoubtedly breathtaking, with its lush jungle covering the hills and mountains that choke the banks of this clear water river. The isolation and remoteness of this area has kept it pristine, holding healthy populations of fish in quantities seldom seen nowadays in any river. The structure of the river itself allows for this particular fishery to be fished by wading or drifting, and even offer opportunities to sight cast at fish. The most unique characteristic of our fishery though, is the ability to catch trophy golden dorado (and an array of other species) on the fly, in a small mountain-stream-type river. In addition, you are surrounded by jungle that is alive with a seemingly infinite collection of plants, and the wildlife that interacts with it. The opportunity to become a part such a setting is what makes this fishery so special. Nobody ever said it would be easy. Most of the fishing is done by wading in the river, through slippery rocks and boulders. The jungle has a lot of tricky ground and there are always things to look out for in this wild landscape. The insects and the elements can pose a challenge. However, no place worth seeing, is easy to get to, and nothing worth doing, is easy to do. This place represents just that, and is the epitome of wilderness, likely one of the most remote and wild places you will ever visit. It is an experience most believe has been lost to development decades ago. With Federico, he aims to join the excitement of fishing and exploration, and share it with adventurous anglers worldwide! **Included:** – One professional -English speaking- fly fishing guide for every 2-3 anglers. – Safari tents with beds, fully functioning bathrooms and showers, charging stations/lighting, and fine dining by our camp chef. – Airport Meet and Greet, Five Star Hotel, Round-Trip Private Charter Flights, Professional Fly-Fishing Guides, Local Indigenous Guides, Guide-Operated Boats, Camp Accommodations, Cuisine, Fees and Permits, Equipment **Itinerary:** Friday: Arrive Viru Viru International Airport (code VVI). Someone from our team will meet you and transfer you to Los Tajibos Hotel and Convention Center. Check in and rest for an early morning departure to the jungle. (night of hotel included in package price). DAY ONE (Saturday) Have breakfast and then transfer to the charter flight for the 2.35 hour flight to the jungle airstrip. Arrive and begin transfer to the main camp (Approximately 3 hours canoe ride upriver). Arrive and get settled in your tents and geared up. Lunch and introduction briefing. After, split into teams and begin fishing around the home beats until dark, then return for welcome dinner and rest. DAY TWO (Sunday) - DAY SEVEN (Friday): Breakfast. Anglers will separate into teams, two or three per team (depending on group and conditions), and will split up and fish different beats assigned every day based on our rotation, but also current weather and river conditions. Every day you will cover various deep pools, submerged and overhanging structure and runs/riffles while navigating the river. Every day you will all return to Casare Camp before dark. Dinner and rest at Casare Camp. DAY EIGHT (Saturday) Breakfast. Then the group, all together, begin fishing their way downriver. Packed lunch on the go. Then late morning arrival to the jungle airstrip for departure to Santa Cruz. (Departure to Santa Cruz is subject to being postponed due to external factors, such as weather, Bolivia political reasons, among others. Federico considers your safety first, always, even if it means losing flights. Federico will not be responsible for any extra charges associated with any changes required there-forth.) Once in Santa Cruz, either a transfer directly to the International Airport or, you will be transferred to the hotel. (2nd night included in the package). trip description for World Class Pacific Billfish Bash in Iztapa

What sounds better than waking up in a luxurious resort on the Pacific coast with a boat ready to take you out for some world-class billfishing? This all-inclusive experience with Captain Ozzy is a dream vacation for avid anglers looking to catch some serious big game fish. This trip consists of 3 full days of fishing and 4 nights of lodging. The Pacific coast of Guatemala features some of the world’s calmest and most consistent billfishing waters. Puerto Quetzal in particular is known as one of the best Sailfishing locations in the world, where anglers can get 15 to 20 bites a day and up to 40 bites a day during peak season between October and June. The top boats catch and release over 2,000 Sailfish a year! While Sailfishing is the main attraction, in these waters you can also reel in some massive Tuna and Marlin. If you're looking to break a personal record, this trip is for you! On this trip you'll be fishing an area called the “Pocket”, a deep underwater canyon that is roughly 30 nautical miles wide. Most days, Captain Ozzy will start you just 12 to 15 miles offshore, on the tip of the canyon, but he may run you as far as 40 miles out if that’s what it takes to put you on the fish. Once out on the water, you'll be going for Sailfish, Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Black Marlin and more. 300 to 600 pounds is average for these massive Blue Marlin in this area! In recent years, it has not been uncommon for the best captains to raise four or more marlin in a day! Marlin can be caught year round in Guatemala, and are especially good to fish for in September through December. You'll be targeting these fish using various methods including light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling and jigging. Whatever fish you want to go after, Captain Ozzy will get you set up with the best method! You can even choose to fly fish if you wish. For billfish, expect to use artificial teasers and naked rigged natural bait such as ballyhoo. Quality is ensured with Shimano 20 to 50 pound class stand-up tackle. Guatemala is a world leader in conservation and all bait is rigged with circle hooks. All billfishing is Catch and Release Only, ensuring this fishing “hot spot” remains the angler’s choice destination for many years to come. With the "Luxury Package," Captain Ozzy will take up to 5 anglers to the offshore waters in either his 40’ Luhrs Flybridge, 35ft Luhrs Flybridge with cruising speed of 24 knots, or his 35ft Viking-Open Flybridge powered by Twin Cat’s 420 HP engines with a cruising speed of 26 knots. All three come equipped with all the basic amenities as well as a luxurious fully air-conditioned cabin and rooms. Captain Ozzy makes sure all his boats are meticulously maintained for your comfort and safety. Expect top of the line gear and tackle and a world-class crew, with each boat featuring an experienced Captain and two excellent mates. Fishing trips will run from 7:00am to 4:30pm. During the day your crew will serve you a hot lunch, snacks and fresh fruit. They will also prepare fresh Ceviche or Sashimi right in the galley! Beer, rum/vodka, sodas, Gatorade and bottled water will all be provided. It's safe to say the resort-class luxury does not stop when you get on the boat! **Lodging** With this package, you'll be staying in an air conditioned villa with two bedrooms, two queen beds, two bathrooms and a very comfortable central lounge area featuring a flat screen TV with SKY Satellite Service (English programming). Sliding glass doors open onto a sun deck overlooking our beautifully landscaped tropical grounds, pool and marina. Daily laundry service and Hi speed Wi-Fi Internet service throughout the Resort are also included. **Bar and Restaurant** This all-Inclusive dining experience includes a full a-la-carte breakfast, gourmet Dinner Menu featuring an international cuisine, and all the beer, wine and local & imported spirits you want! Enjoy breakfasts by the pool consisting of fresh fruit, cereal, pancakes, eggs cooked to order, fresh roasted Guatemalan coffee and freshly squeezed orange or pineapple juice. Fresh seafood with the local seasonings as well as impressive cuts of prime steaks are offered for dinner. Appetizers, entrees and desserts are all part of your dining experience. **Transportation** English-speaking drivers greet you at the Guatemalan International Airport in a luxury passenger van upon your arrival. In it, a cooler filled with sodas and beer will quench your thirst on the drive down to the Resort. If your flight arrives mid-day, you'll have the option to tour Antigua Guatemala on the way to the Resort. You will be driven south to Iztapa, Escuintla for about 90 minutes on a four-lane highway. Getting out of the city you may see some traffic, but after that it will be a very comfortable drive amongst volcanoes, sugar plantations and a very picturesque background. Read More

trip description for Tanzania Tiger Fish Safari in Dar es Salaam

The trip begins in Ruaha National Park - Tanzania's 2nd largest NP and one of the largest protected areas in Africa - to chase tigerfish on fly and on poppers along the Ruaha River. Multiple days will be spent camping in the Msembe area of Ruaha to explore one of the best freshwater fishing destinations in Africa. The main focus will be the mighty tigerfish, one of Africa’s most iconic freshwater species. The species endemic to this area are related to the Goliath Tigers of the Congo Basin with fish over the 10lb mark in abundance. The best ways to target this toothy fish is with surface lures such as poppers and on fly. Beware the crocs and hippos while casting. While amenities and lodging are 5 star, you'll experience fishing in its most pure, natural form here. You'll be accompanied by armed game guards and will be able to fish parts of the African outback with no other humans around for tens of miles. Other species targeted on fly include a species of Barb closely related to the much sought after Yellow Fish of southern Africa. As an added bonus this trip also offers exceptional game viewing as Ruaha is home to famously large Elephant and Cape Buffalo herds, Kudu, Sable, Antelope, and over 500 bird species. The park is also home to 10% of the world's Lion population, Leopards, Cheetahs, and African Hunting Dogs. You will also be afforded the opportunity to travel 4 hours to the south east of the core game viewing area to the Usangu Plains region of Ruaha to explore fishing opportunities there as well. This trip is all-inclusive, and Dom will be happy to set up lodging, food, amenities, travel & flights, and anything else you might need for your stay in-country. Read More

A quick boat ride offshore will take you to the perfect waters to catch huge Pacific species, including Blue Marlin, shortbill spearfish, striped marlin, Ono (Wahoo), Yellowfin Tuna, and more. Captain Gaige's 42’ Merritt is well-equipped with top-of-the-line Shimano reels and quality rods and tackle, all IGFA qualified in case you happen to catch a potential record breaker. Plus, the sturdy fighting chair will provide comfort during the intense battles with these magnificent creatures. Captain Gaige's trips focus on targeting trophy-sized fish, such as giant Yellowfin Tuna and Blue Marlin, rather than medium-sized fish like Mahi Mahi found in the nearshore waters. The waters off Hawaii get very deep quickly, meaning you can catch trophy gamefish without having to venture too far out. Thisepic sportfishing trip includes everything you need, from fishing licenses to tackle and bait, fish cleaning and packaging, coolers full of ice, and even complimentary photos and video of the trip! All reels are Shimano made, and the rods and tackles are of the highest quality and IGFA qualified. So, if you're looking to catch the trophy of a lifetime, Captain Gaige is the right person for the job! Read More

trip description for Coastal Bend Duck Assault in Corpus Christi

This self-guided duck hunt is ideal for duck hunters with a little bit of experience under their belt, who want to bag some birds in one of America's best duck habitats. This trip is also a little less pricey than a guided trip, but you'll be shooting from the same places and the hunting is just as good. South Texas is smack in the middle of the Central Flyway, and is a stopover for dozens of migratory waterfowl species. The sheltered bays here draw hundreds of thousands of ducks annually, including Green-Winged and Blue-Winged Teals, Wigeons, Redheads, Pintails, Gadwalls, and Mottled Ducks, and more! You can target all of these species, which are exciting quarries and great eating to boot! On this trip, your outfitter, Captain Mitch will make sure to put you in the perfect spot to nail some inbound waterfowl. He'll provide the blinds and decoys, so all you need to bring is your waders, your guns, and your shells. He'll motor you out to the blind, but once you're out there, he leaves the hunting up to you! trip description for 2 Day+ Sandhill Crane Hunts in Abilene

Get excited for an epic crane hunting adventure with Pro guide Cash and his team. Bag limits in Zones A and B are 9 birds a person. Bring your 12 gauge shotguns and steel shot size #6, #4, or #2. Lodging and meals are not included in the price of the hunt, but local hotels and airbnbs in the Abilene area are very affordable and easy to find. Hunts are conducted on private leases in the surrounding area. A typical Crane hunt begins one hour before sunrise. Our hunting clients typically help set up our Crane decoys and begin helping to set up our mobile Crane Blind. We do not require, but rather invite our clients to help with set up as it allows us to deploy the decoys and blind with less help in the field. The faster we set up and load out the gear after the hunt, the more time our clients have to travel. We do not wear our clients out by packing too much gear, we just ask for a little help to ensure a safe and productive experience. Sandhill cranes require far fewer decoys than your average goose hunt. Once everything is set up and the sun starts to rise the hunt begins. Hunts will run until around 11am but more often than not you'll reach your limit far before then! Read More

*Lodging and Meals Included* Optionally add on one of Cash's crane, hog, or dove listings to maximize your stay! We typically hunt the North West Texas area of the Rolling Plains flyway. What makes our duck hunting so special is that there are no Federal Wild Life Refugees located in our very own Central flyway from Canada to Texas. We feel this make a positive impact on the number of ducks available each season in our managed hunting areas. One of the biggest differences with our guided duck hunts is the annual Mallard Duck Migration we see happen each season over the entire North West Texas region. The Mallard Migration occurs around the middle of November and generally lasts until the first substantial freezing weather event. When this migration occurs, there are huge numbers of Mallard Ducks on nearly every spot of water that our managed properties hold. Limit duck hunting happens very quickly when these conditions occur and the fun factor is high. The majority of our duck hunts occur over managed stock tanks/ponds. We manage these locations to make sure they are not over hunted or pressured. This is why some of our duck hunts occur anywhere over a seven county area of North West Texas. Our guide network is always scouting for bird concentrations all season long. We maintain year long conservation programs on all our managed hunting properties. This is done to ensure your group a great outdoor experience. Several of our hunting guides are full time ranchers and farmers that work the very land we hunt on. Who is better to know where the game is, than a guy running farm equipment all year long and managing the land, conservation and livestock. While the area’s we hunt are a solid distance from all major cities. We feel the remoteness and rural feel of this North West Texas location, combined with its agricultural focus, make this a great area to build life long memories of good times in the field hunting Ducks. Lodging- Meals Schedule, for a typical weekend two day guided hunting package we provide one meal (Dinner) upon arrival Friday Evening and three meals Saturday (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) and one meal Sunday (Breakfast) for a total of five meals per person. We hunt Saturday & Sunday Morning with guest departure after the hunt is completed by Sunday early afternoon. Generally until limits are achieved or at 12 Noon on Sunday. (This will vary based off of the duration of your stay, but you will be well fed!) THE LODGE Sleeps up to 12 The lodge, purchased in 2010, has been fully refurbished and out fitted for modern living since the building's humble beginnings as a Methodist Church. The expansive main room features game tables, flat screen TV and full kitchen, perfect for private parties & receptions. The ground floor features laundry and two full bathrooms for men & women, including rain shower heads and multiple stalls. Downstairs, you'll find five individual bedrooms with bunk beds, twin beds and queen beds, depending on the room. THE COOKHOUSE Sleeps up to 6 Located just across the street from the Lodge, the Cookhouse is a smaller building that boasts a gourmet kitchen including two ovens, two refrigerators and a standing freezer. The main room is lined with tables to accommodate the hunters and cowboys who gather to dine here three times a day. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms located in the cookhouse, making it perfect for a small hunting party. A comfortable living room area is completed with a flat screen TV for your viewing pleasure. The main bedroom features a message chair and private bathroom. Read More

Fishing in Santa Cruz de la Sierra
Fishing in Santa Cruz de la Sierra
Fishing in Santa Cruz de la Sierra
trip description for Bolivian Amazon Golden Dorado in Santa Cruz de la Sierra

On this exciting multi-day experience, Federico takes his more adventurous guests to even more remote areas of the headwaters. This is the epitome of adventure angling, not for the faint of heart. Only a limited number of anglers will have the opportunity to enjoy this unique angling experience every season. This is not just a fishing trip, it is a JUNGLE ADVENTURE. Fly camps are used to keep you on the move in these remote areas; large dome tents, cots, dining meshed tent, bathroom tent/outhouse-style toilet, solar bag showers, generator. Your chef will prepare a mix of local and international foods, a big breakfast and dinner, as well as a packable lunch for you to enjoy on-the-go. Federico will travel far up the waters to take you into the most pristine reaches of the river system. The Tsimane team will lead the way showing you a rare view into the way they travel through and negotiate their terrain, digging or moving rocks and cutting fallen timber to make way for the canoes, doing whatever necessary to push on further. Watch in awe as they go on gathering food and a variety of jungle supplies for their families along the way, as hunter gatherers in their lineage have for centuries. Their ancient skills, strength and jungle ingenuity will come into play right before your eyes as you make your way into the deep green jungle. Feel what it felt like for explorers back in the golden age of exploration! This is more than just a fishing trip; it is a journey through the jungle wilderness with an expedition team lead by native Tsimanes, in which your ONLY mission with Federico is to move your team into the most remote corners of this river system in search for BIGGER AND MEANER jungle gold! **Included:** – One professional English speaking fly fishing guide for every two anglers. – An entire expedition team comprised of more than a dozen local Tsimane guides, half dozen local guides, Chef/chef helper, and 2-3 professional english speaking fly fishing guides. – All camping gear included EXCEPT sleeping bag and travel pillow. Sleeping pads and cots for the spacious dome tents are provided. – Airport Meet and Greet, Five Star Hotel, Round-Trip Private Charter Flights, Professional Fly-Fishing Guides, Local Indigenous Guides, Guide-Operated Boats, Camp Accommodations, Cuisine, Fees and Permits, Equipment **Itinerary:** Friday: Arrive Viru Viru International Airport (code VVI). One of our team members will meet you and transfer you to Los Tajibos Hotel and Convention Center. Check in and rest for an early morning departure to the jungle. (night of hotel included in package price). Day One (Saturday): Have breakfast and then transfer to the charter flight for the 2.35 hour flight to the jungle airstrip. Arrive and begin transfer to the main camp (Approximately 3 hours canoe ride upriver). Arrive and get settled in your tents and geared up. Lunch and introduction briefing. Then separate into 2 teams and fish around the home beats. Return back to camp before dark to pack for our expedition further up river the next day. Welcome dinner and rest. Day Two (Sunday): Breakfast. Anglers will finish packing and leave their cargo in front of their tents. The entire expedition team will already be loading cargo on our fleet of dugout canoes and making sure they have all the necessary supplies properly packed. All together as an expedition team you'll begin your river ascent deep into the uppermost headwaters of the river system. You will take turns (leap frog fishing) on your way up, stopping to fish at choice spots to maximize fishing and efficient use of the daylight. You will cover various pools, rocky and woody structure, runs/riffles, back-eddies and more, while navigating the river. While the team negotiates all these obstacles and takes care of pushing our expedition fleet upriver, the professional guides will handle the guests, putting them on different fishing scenarios hunting down dorado and other species along the way. Packed lunch on-the-go to take advantage of daylight. The expedition team will eventually arrive at the campsite, unload cargo and set up camp, while the guests continue fishing upriver. You will arrive to a complete camp set up for you to have a bath and enjoy dinner and much needed rest. Day Three (Monday): Early breakfast. Pack gear up and load onto canoes. The guides will go ahead first with the guests, fishing their way upriver in “leap frog” fashion. The expedition team will lag behind them, moving camp to your next campsite for the week. Shore lunch on your way upriver to more fishing adventure. The guests and professional guides will continue fishing the rest of the afternoon, and then turn back in time to make it to your new campsite before dark. Dinner and rest. Days Four-Six (Tuesday-Thursday): Breakfast. Anglers and guides will split into two teams and switch through beats every day, -or move all together ‘leap frogging’ your way, each taking turns beat by beat, day by day, working your way up even higher up the headwaters. There is enough water and enough fishing opportunities for each of the maximum of 4 anglers in this expedition to get at least 2-5 chances at a nice sized fish every day, and of course some days chances will be double that or more. Your guide will decide when it is time to return to make it back to your last camp or fly camp. Dinner and rest. Day Seven (Friday): Early breakfast, begin packing for return to Casare Camp. Make your way downriver with guides and anglers leading the way. You will stop at choice spots to fish. Have your packed lunch on-the-go. Arrive to Casare Camp early afternoon and fish the home beats. Return to Casare Camp for dinner and rest. Day Eight (Saturday): Early breakfast and guests finish packing. Anglers and guides will begin fishing downriver to the jungle airstrip, fishing their way down choice spots. Packed lunch on-the-go. Then arrive late morning to the jungle airstrip for departure to Santa Cruz. (Departure to Santa Cruz is subject to being postponed due to external factors, such as weather, random Bolivian political issues, among others. Please be advised that Federico considers your safety first, always, even if it means losing flights. Federico will not be responsible for any extra charges associated with any changes required there-forth.) Once in Santa Cruz, either a transfer directly to the International Airport or, you will be transferred to the hotel. (2nd night included in the package). Day Nine (Sunday): Breakfast at hotel and transfer back to Viru Viru International Airport for your flight/connections back home. (Transfer to airport included in package.) Read More

trip description for Les Roques Archipelago on the Fly in Los Roques Archipelago

Is there anything that sounds better than waking up on the water in a beautiful Caribbean atoll with pristine bonefishing just feet away? We doubt it! This all-inclusive experience with Captain Chris can best be described as a wade fisherman's paradise. Los Roques is a bonefish hot-spot, and offers a variety of alternatives for anglers too. Other common available species at Los Roques include a variety of Snappers and hard fighting Jacks, Tarpon, Permit, Barracuda, Snook, Spanish Mackerel and also blue water species such as Wahoo, Tuna, Bonito, Marlin and Swordfish. Captain Chris and his crew are experts when it comes to these flats and will get you to the right spots every time. Los Roques is an extremely popular and exclusive destination that hosts world-class salt-water fly-fishing. It is characterized by its extremely clear and calm waters, magnificent coral beds, diverse and varied flats, miles of sandy beaches and hundreds of smaller mangrove cays, all with incredibly diverse environments and natural beauty. No cars are needed to traverse the sandy pathways to colorful lodges and private houses. It is very safe, clean and popular among foreign tourists and Venezuelans alike. This trip consists of 1 guide and 1 captain per boat. These 28' Pangas fiber-glass center console boats are specially designed to the environment of Los Roques fishery and seas and outfitted with canopies to protect anglers from the sun. A huge advantage over other destinations is that the captain drops off anglers with their guide on various flats and areas and meets them at the other end, eliminating not only any backtracking across the flat to maximize fishing time but also putting anglers in the right spot to take advantage of wind, current, tides and sunlight. For a typical 6-day package, guests will fly from Caracas to Los Roques in the morning and get to fish that day. Next is 4 full days of fishing, where anglers will be on the flats from 8am to 4pm with a quick break for lunch. After this, anglers will get a final full day of fishing before flying back to Caracas at 5pm. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided every day. The breakfast menu includes freshly squeezed juices, yogurts and cereals, avocado and poached eggs. Packed lunches are provided while fishing, with snacks given out upon returning from the flats. The evening meals consist of 4 courses: a ceviche or sashimi starter, antipasto, fish of the day and finally dessert. On this trip you will have two choices for lodging: Villa Caracol enjoys an extremely quiet and ventilated position. It is characterized by large open spaces arranged on various levels, mainly of white color, natural tones and with furniture in teak. It has six spacious and comfortable rooms, one of which with four beds, two with three beds and two with double beds, furnished with taste and attention to details, come with a private washroom with hot water, a/c, mini-bar, and ceiling fan. Villa Caracol is ideal for clients looking for privacy, relax and refinement. Posada Caracol is situated on the main waterfront and is perfectly positioned to enjoy the sunset, the daily going on along the waterfront, and of course the sea view. The original structure has been sympathetically re-designed, providing four guest bedrooms, furnished with taste, embellished by selected particulars. All rooms have air conditioning and are tastefully decorated including personal bluetooth speakers in each bedroom. Both are ideal not only for anglers but also for couples and families that want to relax and enjoy one of the most beautiful Archipelagos in the world. Book your dream trip today with Captain Chris! trip description for Flats and Backwaters on Artificials in Aransas Pass

Captain Larry knows how to get you on the Trout and Redfish in Copano and Mesquite bay! He likes to fish the grassy flats and back lakes using topwater baits, wakebaits, and Downsouth lures to find fish. He's also experienced at wading and drifting these flats and backwater lakes, so whatever suits your fancy, Captain Larry can make it happen. trip description for Devil's River Flyfishing Safari in Devils River

Head out with Kevin and his crew for one of the most awesome fishing experiences around on this deluxe version of their fully guided fly fishing float trip on Devil's River! The Devils River is one of the most rugged and pristine rivers in the Southwest U.S. Very few people get to experience the phenomenal fishing and scenery because of the guarded access. Kevin and his team have access to private properties including several ranches with many miles of frontage! Kevin's deluxe fly fishing trip includes two days of guided fishing in a 14 ft. custom whitewater raft (two clients per boat), three nights lodging in an air conditioned riverfront ranch house with fireplace. Rock art tours and Jeep tours are included upon arrival in the afternoon. They will provide meals and most beverages. Kevin only does parties of two or four with this exclusive package. The cost is $1,750 per person, per day. The Devils River begins its course near Ozona and Sonora, TX. It is a wet weather drainage on the upper end with no permanent pools. Farther downstream near the ghost town of Juno, the river becomes intermittent, surfacing and disappearing beneath gravel bars. Kevin and his guides fish and float the navigable sections of the river. One of their floats begins at Baker's crossing and they fish their way down to the San Pedro Ranch. The ranch has three miles of frontage on the Devils River. They have a three bedroom, two bath cabin, with a river view. San Pedro Ranch has a beautiful riverside, shaded, pecan and oak forest. It is surrounded by thousands of acres of rugged trans-Pecos ranchland, and is truly remote with world class beauty! Another section they fish is twelve miles downstream of Baker's Crossing where they have access to Sycamore Canyon Ranch. This 8,700 acre property has three miles of Devils River frontage and is adjacent to the Devils River State Natural Area (Del Norte Unit). The ranch has a river-front cabin with air conditioning and a fire place giving you a great headquarters for staging adventures downstream. They also have a ranch at the Blue Sage area giving you a great place to launch and take out. Their other property has ten miles of frontage and several tens of thousands of acres near the convergence of the Devils River and Lake Amistad. Wherever Kevin takes you, you're guaranteed to have the time of your life catching fish on what some consider the most beautiful river in the world! Read More

trip description for "Silver Kings" Tarpon Adventure in Sandy Bay Sirpi

If you're looking to get on some world's most spectacular Tarpon fishing, look no further than this trip with Captain Jorge! This is a true bucket-lister: eight full days of exhilarating Tarpon fishing off one of Central America's most beautiful coasts, combined with incredible amenities for one affordable price. Your captain and guide, Jorge, is ane expert when it comes to finding, hooking, and fighting Tarpon, the Western Hemisphere's premier inshore sportfish. These fish are big, beautiful, and known worldwide for their ferocious fighting abilities and acrobatic leaps! Commonly known as the "Silver King", these fish are the top predators in their inshore habitat, and landing one is truly the experience of a lifetime. It takes great skill and technique to land a Tarpon; they're very strong and extremely agile, with crazy head-shaking and tail-walking that can throw even a solidly-set hook. In addition, they're picky eaters, and can be very selective with the baits and lures they choose to go after. Because of this, your guide's experience and expertise are invaluable; Jorge knows what his local Tarpon prefer to chase, how to properly present your lure or bait, and then how to avoid losing the fish once it's on the line. Tarpon behavior changes also depending on the season, the water conditions, and the phases of the moon, all of which Jorge takes into account when guiding your trips. He runs these adventures aboard a traditional wooden panga—a narrow, shallow-draft boat style that's meant for poling across flats and getting into inshore backwater. She has a deck that's ideal for active fish-fighting, and her V-shaped profile cuts easily through chop and surf. Everything you need will be provided for you, including rods, reels, bait, and tackle. All you need to bring is sunscreen (lotion only, no spray!), a hat, and a pair of sunglasses to cut the surface glare. Get down to Sandy Bay Sirpi there and get ready for the trip of a lifetime! trip description for Hardcore Seamount Adventure in Puerto Jiménez

These FAD (Fish Aggregating Device) trips are specifically designed for the hardcore angler who thinks that they've done it all. Off of Costa Rica, there's an abundance of dormant underwater volcanoes scattered between 70–150 miles offshore. Because of the change in water depth and the abundance of bait in these areas, they've proven to be perfect places to deploy FADs. FADs are any underwater structure you deploy yourself—essentially allowing Captain Tyler to create his own personal reefs, mark them on his GPS, and then fish his own exclusive, offshore honey holes. For this experience, an overnight trip is absolutely worth it. Captain Tyler offers 1-night to 4-night FAD trips and can accommodate up to 4 anglers on each. All trips start on the evening of the first day, involve an overnight motor offshore, and then fishing from 5: AM to sundown; that's 12 hours of fishing on a 36-hour trip, 24 hours of fishing on a 60-hour trip, and 36 hours of fishing on a 84-hour trip. Finally, you'll travel back to Quepos overnight and be on the dock in time for breakfast. Whether you choose a 2-night trip or a 4-night trip, you'll be taken care of aboard Captain Tyler's 46′ Guthrie built in North Carolina. This boat was originally brought to Costa Rica by the legendary fly fisherman Harry Gray, but it was designed specifically for fishing the fertile Pacific waters right off Costa Rica. She is the last wood hull boat Guthrie ever built, and is one of the best fish-raising boats anywhere. She's got a fully air-conditioned cabin, full bathroom, kitchen, two staterooms, and is the perfect fish raising platform for the central pacific of Costa Rica. She features full Garmin and Raymarine electronics, Rupp Outriggers, Tuna Tubes, Live Well and pull double dredges. She is powered by a Detroit 8V92 and cruises at 20 knots. Tyler will provide all the best equipment: Shimano TLD 30 and 50 class conventional reels along with Penn 50 and 80 class conventional and spinning equipment. He also offers fly fishing equipment as well if that peaks your interest: He uses Billy Pate reels and Sage Rods. If you want to have the closest thing to a guaranteed Marlin catch, this is your trip. A trip like this is not for the faint of heart, but if you are willing to spend the time getting to these rich waters, the rewards are incredible, and Captain Tyler and his 46' Guthrie are here to make sure your Quepos FAD trip will one-up any fishing adventure you've ever been on! trip description for Kilimanjaro Trout Fishing in Machame

Get ready to fish for a population that has been untouched in over 100 years. In the late 1920’s, the first Rainbow Trout were brought to Tanzania by keen fishermen residing in the Usambara District. A small hatchery was established using eggs from neighboring Kenya and fry were released into a tributary of the Mkussa Stream on the estate of Major Sandwith. The climate of the West Usambara Mountains was considered ideal for trout to flourish and the acidity/alkalinity and average temperature of the rivers fell within the range in which Rainbow Trout are known to thrive (50 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit). When these trout were successfully introduced into the rivers flowing off the western side of Mount Kilimanjaro, it was noted that the rivers flowing from the southern slopes of Africa’s highest mountain would also offer ideal conditions, most notably the Weru Weru and Kikafu Rivers. Abundant native insect species throughout the year increased the likelihood of trout to not only survive but eventually reproduce, and within two years, fish in the range of one to three pounds were caught. Fry have been observed to grow rapidly due to an abundance of food found in these rivers, most notably freshwater crabs and aquatic nymphs of various insect species such as mayflies and caddisflies. After introduction, political changes in Tanzania meant fishing became a forgotten pasttime, the hatchery program was abolished, and rainbows on Kili were forgotten and untouched. Fast forward almost 100 years and it is apparent that these early observations of the suitability of the Weru Weru and Kikafu Rivers were indeed correct and healthy, as self-sustaining populations of wild Rainbow Trout can be found in a number of rivers among the many sprawling ridges and canyons below Kilimanjaro, if you know where to look. These populations have held themselves steady for a hundred years with no intervention and no pressure from anglers. Days will be spent fly fishing for wild Rainbow Trout on light tackle or 2 weight rods on some of the tributaries flowing off Mt. Kilimanjaro. You will use a combination of off-road driving, hiking, and wading your way upstream to stalk rainbows hiding in the many rocky gullies and flows of these rivers. This trip is as much about the exploration as the angling. This trip is all-inclusive, and Dom will be happy to set up lodging, food, amenities, travel & flights, and anything else you might need for your stay in-country. Read More

trip description for Texas Duck Smack in Abilene

Optionally add this trip to any of Cash's multi-day hunting listings to maximize your time!
