I get and see has the Spanish mackerel here in our bay and pass any day now. The pompano migration will show here in just a few more days as well.
We have been catching sheephead of world class size and good Gulf bottom fish like scamp grouper, red grouper, and vermillion snapper lately.

Redfish, black drum, and speckled trout have been biting like crazy in the second half of the incoming tide. Shrimp under popping corks or natural colored soft plastics have been getting the job done. This was from Wednesday, lost count of how many fish we caught before we were an hour into it!
