The five and six hour trips are usually booked with intentions of ether half the trip inshore and other nearshore, or the entire trip nearshore. This extended time gives the capt. the opportunity to make a further ride and more time to provide you a better catch of fish. After leaving the dock it’s a short trip to where we will be stopping to buy/catch live bait for your trip. Depending on the trip booked we will usually ride anywhere from 5 to 30 min to the fishing grounds. Longer rides are the nearshore trips. The tackle most commonly used on the inshore trips are light tackle 3000-4000 spinning reels with 20lb braid.
