Since Captain Gavin’s 32’ Aluma Marine can fit up to 10 guests, this trip is the perfect opportunity to gather with family and friends for a day on the water! If you choose, Captain Gavin is happy to clean and cook your catch for you, at an additional fee of $30 per person. The spacious deck aboard the vessel allows many lines to be cast at once, so fish can pile up in the icebox. You'll start off the afternoon on board a 26' Caymas center console bay boat chasing Speckled Trout, Redfish, Sheepshead, and Black Drum. You'll leave the dock about 3 hours before sunset for your rod & reel fishing charter and enjoy the sunset while catching Louisiana's most popular fish. At sunset, you'll meet Captain Chris on the bayou, where you will hop on board a custom 20' airboat to continue your night of bowfishing for the next 3 hours. You trip will last approximately 6 hours. This combo rod & reel and bowfishing charter is perfect for customers who want to experience it all but do not want to stay out late into the night. Its the perfect opportunity to enjoy both styles of fishing in one trip! Fuel, bait, ice, rods, reels, bows, arrows, tackle, and fishing cleaning services are included. Up to 10 guests can comfortably fit aboard the 32’ Aluma Marine which you will use to extensively search the Louisiana marshland for Redfish and Speckled Trout. The network of canals stretches for miles, and over 2 days you will have plenty of time to explore it. Y'all will be staying in the newly renovated cabins, bunkhouses, or houseboats that sit on the bayou for a beautiful view of the bayou. Besides Redfish and Speckled Trout, the flats are home to Black Drum, Flounder, and Redfish, all of which are delicious. Each person on the trip should bring a large cooler to keep their catch fresh for dinner. Not to worry, lodging overnight is included. There, Captain Gavin will clean your catch for you and you can try your hand at the grill. He will also provide you with all the rods, reels, bait, and tackle necessary for a successful trip, as well as sodas during the hot days.
