As water temperatures begin to rise they get a great run of gaffer dolphins. Gaffer dolphins are larger dolphins that get their name because you need a gaff to get them in the boat. When the gaffer dolphin first show up it is not unusual for us to catch a limit of these big dolphins which is a whole lot of meat for the freezer!
