Trigger fish are plentiful as well, but you have to fish through the shorts to get the keepers! As the weather continues to warm up the bite will get even better!

I get and see has the Spanish mackerel here in our bay and pass any day now. The pompano migration will show here in just a few more days as well.

Inshore gulf fishing has been pretty good. We're catching a variety of fish everything from red snapper to gag and Red grouper, scamps and lane and vermilion snappers.

Redfish, black drum, and speckled trout have been biting like crazy in the second half of the incoming tide. Shrimp under popping corks or natural colored soft plastics have been getting the job done. This was from Wednesday, lost count of how many fish we caught before we were an hour into it!
