On this trip, you'll fish up to 40 miles offshore, targeting wrecks and reef structures for big-time fish such as Goliath Grouper, Amberjack, Barracuda, Red Grouper, and more! You'll be fishing comfortably aboard Captain Dan's 35' World Cat. This luxurious, "tournament edition" catamaran has an overall length of over 35 feet, with a generous 10' 6" beam that carries the full length of the boat. What this means for you is a large, wide and stable boat with lots of space. On this 4 to 8-hour trip, Captain Jay will take you to the inshore canals and flats of Cape Coral, where you can expect to target a variety of species such as Jack Crevalle, Mangrove Snapper, Permit, Redfish, Sheepshead, Snook, Spotted Seatrout, and Tarpon. Captain Jay has been guiding fishing trips in Florida since 1998, so expect him to have some great tips to get a fish on your line! To attract these picture-worthy fish you'll be using a fly rod to cast exactly where the fish are swimming. Captain Phil offers backwater fishing adventures for the entire family and for serious anglers. Backwater fishing excursions can be day or night trips, fishing from Naples Bay to 10,000 Islands to Everglades National Park, for tarpon, snook, trout, pompano, tripletail, sharks, and more. You'll be headed out aboard Captain Phil's 24′ Avenger bay boat, which comfortably seats up to 6 people, with a t-top to shade you from the incessant South Florida Sun. Children and Pets are always welcome! Captain Phil will provide all the fishing gear (rods, reels, tackle, bait), fishing licenses, water, ice. Anything else you’d like to eat or drink you should bring along with you. Though there is usually ample room in our onboard coolers, you may bring a small cooler for your provisions if you’d prefer. Dylan has been fishing the local waters for over two decades and is an expert at catching fish, finding shells and sharks teeth, and having a great time on the water! You’ll be casting off of a 23’ Pathfinder bay boat, powered by a speedy 250 HP Yamaha SHO V8 engine. She’s equipped with top of the line Garmin electronics, a live well, and wireless trolling motor for when you need to slow things down and get stealthy! She can accommodate up to 6 anglers and children are always welcome and encouraged for these trips! The Pine Island area is one of the best-known fishing destinations in Southwest Florida, owing to its plentiful year-round fishery. Depending on what you’re aiming for, you’ll go after anything from Redfish, Snook, and Trout, to Tarpon and Snapper. After some rod bending action Captain Dylan will motor back into shore to hit some of his favorite remote beaches to find some exquisite shells and break for lunch/fun under the sun.
