Few places rival Northeast Florida when it comes to big, giant, tasty fish offshore fish. Bruiser Cobia, and smoker Kings, are in the area most of the year. Snapper, Grouper, and Giant Amberjack are also in abundance. Spend the day cranking a reel, and take home bags of filets as a just reward. The ride out is in a state-of-the-art, whisper-quiet boat, aptly named Reel Adrenaline.  You can sip your coffee, and talk at a normal voice.  No smelly diesel fumes, or load engines to spoil your trip.  The boat has a bow with a Carolina flair, making it the driest ride in the ocean. State of the art electronics paired with the Captain Adam's lifetime of saltwater fishing experience means you will go home with sore arms and big smiles. Kingfish, Cobia and Bull Redfish can be found close to shore at most of the year.  These species along with Amberjack, Grouper, and Monster Red Snapper are typically in abundance from the 10-25 mile range….less than a 30-minute ride on most days.  The fishing gear is likewise state of the art and compact. Deep water jigging rods rated for 200lb braid, and reels with incredible torque are both light in weight, and powerful. No broomstick-sized rods, and clunky reels on this vessel.  Every consideration has been made to make your angling the experience of a lifetime.  Welcome aboard! Captain Don is truly a 5 star fishing guide. He's a better guy. I've been fishing for over 50 years, and as I hoped, Captain Don showed me several ticks and trips I'd never seen. No matter your experience level, he has something to help. We had a great day on the water, and had a great conversation. Darn fish just kept bugging us though.

Best fishing day ever! We told Captain Troy we were serious about getting "keeper" fish to eat, and he did not disappoint. A full 12-hour trip into the Atlantic got us 46 delicious keepers (variety of snapper species, Jacks, Cobia, trigger fish, and more) with plenty of non-stop action, thanks to Troy's laser-focus on the fish. He provided good coaching on the best methods to drop our lines and haul up the bounty. He kept the boat on top of fish continuously, and had us haul up our lines as the boat drifted off so he could reposition the boat back over the fish. We literally spent no time at all just hanging out waiting for bites in an empty ocean. He knows some good spots; for the most part we were the only boat on the water as far as the eye could see; we only noticed a couple of other boats wander over toward us in one location. Action also included fighting with one or two giant groupers (line snapped off before we could get them to the boat) and a couple of small sharks. It got exciting when we had to quickly haul in a snapper to save it from the jaws of an impressive 6-foot hammerhead. Overall an exciting, successful, exhausting day on the water from sunup to sundown. Enjoyed grilled Cobia and Jack kabobs for dinner that evening.

Mary Lee F. with Troy J. of St. Augustine, Florida

Our 6-hour in-shore fishing trip with Captain Billy was such a great time! He's definitely done his fair share of charters and we were lucky enough to catch quite a few fish. He followed all sizing restrictions and made sure we were on fish at every spot we went to. After, he showed us the proper way to clean fish. We will most definitely do another charter with him in the future.
