Cut Bait Fishing Charters In St. Pete Beach

On our inshore fishing charters we will be fishing the bays of Tampa Bay and Sarasota Bay on the grass flats and around the mangroves & oyster bars. During our inshore adventures we primarily fish for snook, trout, and redfish. Other species that we encounter on our inshore fishing charters include flounder, pompano, mangrove snapper, sheepshead, Spanish mackerel, bluefish, gag grouper, ladyfish, and jack crevelle. We fish with light tackle and use live bait. A nice thing about fishing inshore is that we are always within 10-20 minutes of a restroom. These trips involve a quick haul offshore to get to one of Captain Brian's marked locations on his GPS. The fishing grounds are usually offshore structure like reefs and other live bottoms. Both grouper & snapper species like to hang near the bottom at these structures and usually congregate in high numbers! You will most likely be using a bottom rig including a heavier weight rod and a hefty weight tied on beneath. Captain & 1st Mate will take care of all the set up for you here and will leave you to monitor the rod for bites. With a small twitch or a slight movement of the line, Captain will tell you to start reeling.
