John will take you on a fly fishing excursion through the productive waters of Delray Beach, Florida, specifically the Ida Lake Chain. You’ll be fishing aboard John’s 17’ Carolina skiff that accommodates up to 3 anglers. She is powered by a 30 HP Mercury engine and a wireless trolling motor. This motor is extremely quiet, which makes it easier to sneak up on those easily spooked fish. On this 2, 4, 6, or 8-hour fishing trip, you’ll be targeting exotic freshwater species, including Clown Knifefish, Crappie, Hybrid Striped Bass, Largemouth Bass, and Peacock Bass. John will provide all fly fishing equipment, but feel free to bring your own. They will also provide all rods, reels, tackle, and lures.
