About Your Trip

This special trip is focused on catching Cobia, a delicious eating fish that's equally fun to fight. Cobia usually travel solo and like to hang out at the surface, so you'll rely on your eyes and your casting technique to hook them up. As Captain Ricky will tell you, there are several conditions that need to be met in order for this trip to work—most importantly, you need clear, warm water and plenty of sunshine. This type of fishing is kind of like deer hunting from a tree stand—you're not going to get one every time you go and just because you see them, that doesn't always mean you're going to get lucky. Bring your rabbit's foot for this trip!
