The 2023-2024 General Duck season in Florida begins November 18th through November 26th and then resumes again from December 9th through January 28th.
During Teal and Wood Duck only, the daily bag limit is 6 ducks (of which only 2 can be wood ducks)
During Teal Only, the daily bag limit is 6 teal ducks.
During General Duck season, the daily bag limit is 6 ducks, including no more than 4 mallards (of which only 2 can be female), 4 sea ducks (of which no more than 3 may be scoters, long-tailed ducks, or eiders and no more than 1 may be a female eider), 3 wood ducks, 2 redheads, 2 black ducks, 2 canvasbacks, 1 pintail, 1 mottled duck (Florida duck) and 1 fulvous whistling-duck.
From November 18-26th and December 9th-January 8th, 1 scaup. This increases to 2 scaup from Jan. 9-28 and during Youth and Veteran/Military waterfowl hunt days.
The possession limit for ducks in Florida is 3 times the daily bag limit.
