Brad was great! The fishing was amazing. It was easy and convenient to set up the trip. My husband and son had a fantastic time. It was definitely the highlight of our trip!
Sarah E. with Brad D. of New Orleans, Louisiana
Good guide, knows where the fish are, would have like to see tactical changes made for different species or when the bit slowed down. I’d like to see a variety in the arsenal you know. That’s just me being my hardcore fishing self. My wife loved it because we didn’t have to clean or fuel our boat. I agree it’s nice just being a paying customer. The hard thing for me and being very expirienced is you expect everyone to be like you. Tommy did us right and I appreciate his hard work. I’d use Tommy again and would recommend Tommy to others
Doug F. with Tommy A. of Sulphur, Louisiana
I’ve fished in several states all over the country including AK and Troy was by far the best “Captain “ we have used. Picked us up right off our house boat! Very knowledgeable and helpful. Was also patient with kids. Will definitely be going back!
Chris D. with Troy W. of Boothville-Venice, Louisiana
the trip was so awful. There are no fish and the trip was so expensive. There was no memory
Quyet D. with Troy W. of Boothville-Venice, Louisiana
Went out with Captain Davide on June 5,2023. His in depth knowledge of the waters ( fishing he area since he was 9y.o.) really made the difference. We were on fish almost all day. He knew how to target each species and the best place to get them. He organized the day to target species that would keep us reeling fish in. Combination of American reds (15), Tuna(6), and variety of other species . Not to mention the wahoo that broke me off ( Damn near the biggest I ever saw). Ended with a day of heat exhaustion for me, 2 hours of fish cleaning for David, and buying 3 extra coolers for the haul home. Be careful...... There is alot of mean mugging at the cleaning station. Most everyone else got skunked that day. Thanks Capt. David Dr, James Hill Ft. Lauderdale Fl.
James H. with Jacob M. of Boothville-Venice, Louisiana
Jace is a great captain, he knew exactly where the fish were and we had non stop action. We went on a MEAT HUNT.
Brad G. with Jace O. of Saint Bernard, Louisiana
Captain Jacob gets 5 BIG stars from my son Tyler and I. We had a fantastic trip with him yesterday. I cannot imagine there is a better fishing guide in the area . He had us on huge donkey red snappers in no time and he took us to many other locations for other species, since we had limited out on red snapper in the first 2 hours of fishing. His boat was immaculate. As a marine surveyor I look at these things as the safety of my son and myself is very important. Captain Jacob has a great sense of humor and makes sure his guests have a great time. Definitely choose him for your trio.
william T. with Jacob M. of Boothville-Venice, Louisiana
Darrel was a wonderful captain he made the entire 2 days awesome
Johnny F. with Daryl C. of Grand Isle, Louisiana
Captain David was very good and interesting to talk with. Our first day out his deck hand had misunderstood our fishing days and was unable to go so David had to do the trip himself. He did his very best but unfortunately we didn't catch anything and helped him as much as possible. The second day he had two deckhands and it went so much more smoothly and they were very informative and very knowledgeable. They tried their best to put us on fish but it didn't work to our favor. We caught one swordfish. It was a very expressive trip for one fish but I understand that happens. I would definitely use captain David again and hope to try it again next year
John R. with David M. of Boothville-Venice, Louisiana
Best day ever with this guide. It’s was cold out and we were able to find the fish we were looking for thank to him. Can’t wait to go back!! I’ll definitely use this guide again.
John S. with Jay W. of Boothville-Venice, Louisiana
Jace is an awesome captain. He knows where the fish are. He made it a great experience for my wife and I. I highly recommend him for and fishing you plan to do.
Erik C. with Jace O. of Saint Bernard, Louisiana
Captain Mike was Professional, Punctual and productive !! I will definitely use him again when I come to New Orleans. He has us limits out in an off season. He did not try to oversell us initially and then totally exceeded our expectations. To top it off were eating fresh fish less than thirty minutes after we were docked !! Thank You ! Captain mike
Eric H. with Mike B. of Slidell, Louisiana
We booked a trip with Captain Mike for a bachelor party, and we had an absolute blast. We caught fish, we cracked jokes, and we made some awesome memories. We will be booking with Captain Mike again soon
Andrew N. with Mike B. of Slidell, Louisiana
Damn good Capton very smart and made the trip very fun he was all about getting us on the fish did a damn fine job of it also
Dustin D. with David M. of Boothville-Venice, Louisiana
Excellent trip with Captain Donnie! An experience every sportsman needs. Tails Up/Sea Cruiser will be my only go to when fishing out of Venice. Donnie is a true professional and will make sure you get on the fish no matter what it takes. His new Contender is a battle wagon and he and his crew are second to none.
Brad H. with Donnie J. of Boothville-Venice, Louisiana
Mr. Daryl is the first charter I've ever taken, and I would not hesitate to book him again. From the first minute you meet him, he's cutting up with jokes and makes you feel like you've known him for a long time. He quickly put us into a steady supply of HUGE trout. Not a single one had to be thrown back. Can't wait to do this again.
