I haven’t fished with Brennen for a real trip, however he guided me and one of patients that has cancer and an arm amputation. He put us on non stop action and was great with the kid! Also, I happened to run into Brennen on the water while fishing with another guide when we had engine trouble. He was kind and gracious enough to interrupt his trip for a few minutes to tow us back to dock! 5 stars, would totes recommend.

I've been fishing personally with Brennen Nguyen 4 separate times with four different groups of people. Here's a little about each trip and the great job he does. First time was with my dad and wife. My dad and I have fished quite a bit and my wife is fairly inexperienced (I usually end up baiting her hooks and taking the fish off). We were looking for mainly quantity of fish as opposed to quality that day( got to keep the wife interested). We went out and caught a bunch of sand trout and a few flounder and had a blast. Brennan did exactly what I expected and asked for which I really appreciated. Second trip was with a group of friends. It was freezing cold that day. We had driven down from college station just to fish so I'd of been let down but would understand if he canceled due to weather but he didn't. He gave his best effort and got us on the fish even tho it was cold and windy. We caught a mixed bag of sheep head, black drum, trout, flounder, and red fish. Everyone had a great time. Third trip was with my dad and a friend from work. Fishing was slow in the morning as we were trying to find where they were at. We eventually found a school of black drum that we fished while other groups of fishing guides started showing up and cutting us off ,Brennan showed an excellent attitude and didn't lose his cool even tho other people were being dicks. We ended up limiting out on black drum for the day and had a blast. Fourth trip was recently with another group of friends, one of my friends had never been fishing before. We launched at 5:30 and we had our trout limit by 8:30. We were all stoked about that. Then we ended up going to look for some reds. We found them and we all ended up all catching our personal bests in reds which blew my mind. Brennan does an excellent job of engaging people that are new to fishing and keeping it fun for them as well as people that fish a lot more. He is also very polite when he needs to be. I would highly recommend him for the beginner or the more experienced fisherman.

Have been out with Brennen no less than 6 times over a period of 2 years. Went with my wife, son & friends on different occasions. Every trip has exceeded expectations no matter the conditions. One ended up in a deluge of rain. We still limited out on reds! I've also caught 2 Texas Slams (red/spec/flounder) with Capt Brennen. He's a younger guide, but literally grew up on the waters he'll take y'all to. Plus, he's a cool guy who regularly helps the Rockport community when in need (like during the 2017 hurricane). Can't recommend him high enough!
