"I have converted to live bait and it is almost confirmed getting a limit (20 fish per person) each trip. We are getting lots of large fish and little difficult to get smaller fish to get a limit. I am having to get bait early but still trying to leave to go fishing around 7am from my dock. It is fast and furious anchored in a big school of stripers, and I keep on top of where they are schooling each trip."-JD

"Trout fair to good soft plastics and croaker to 26”. Redfish fair to good on live shrimp shad and soft plastics up on the flats and tight to the bank. Lots of fresh water still coming down the pipes! Trout and reds starting to pick up some! Look for the grass and sand pockets! Few bulls at the end of jetties. Black drum slow on dead shrimp around structure. Water temps from 80 to 84 degrees. Tight lines everyone be safe out there this weekend!"- Captain Larry

Speckled Trout and Redfish are prominent over sand bars. The topwater bite well in the morning around the South Jetty. The Jetties are also good for Flounder, Trout, and Redfish. Live baits are the best to use right now.
