Joshua was great! We had several young people fishing, and he was very patient with and attentive to them. We caught redfish, speckled trout, and Spanish mackerel and had a great time. Highly recommend him!

We fished with Capt'n Blake on the 32 Sportsman. Blake was friendly, energetic and most of all, he was determined to put us on the fish. My 13 year old son and his friend were with us, and Blake was extremely attentive and helpful with the youth anglers. I would highly recommend Capt'n Blake, and Captain Experiences, and I would book this same exact trip again if given the opportunity. Tight lines!

We were set up to go out with Joey, but there was a last minute change to Captain Taylor. He was a very knowledgeable and patient guide and was great with the kids. Weather was cool and cloudy to start, but he eventually put us on some fish and was a great family experience. It was a catch and release trip which was slightly disappointing but hey, still had a blast. Would definitely book again, hope to return for an offshore experience soon!! Thank you Captain Taylor!!!

A very disappointing experience today. I understand that it is impossible to guarantee fish, but a professional guide should, at the least, have live bait to fish with. He did attempt to catch some beforehand and during our trip with no success. Should have bought some live bait. Fishing with dried squid and trolling for saltwater catfish doesn’t cut it with me. Yes, I did leave him a nice tip. Hal Land

captain Marvin worked hard for us fishing was rough with conditions of the day would book again . only thing was when paying the bill I was surprised to find out that my $138.00 deposit and 35.00 taxes was not part of the total trip price quoted. the final price with deposit and taxes came out to be $863.00 not $690.00 and that's what I paid . plus including tip of $120.00 witch I felt was deserved Not sure why this came out this way but I found this misleading quoted $690.00 total price paid $863.00 plus tip I was told that that's the way it works at captain experience . not the way I was use to

All I can say it that it was interesting. Our trip was scheduled from 7-10am and we boarded his boat a little before 7. Instead of having the bait ready, we took a 20 minute boat ride so he could buy bait for the day. It went downhill from there. We basically fished 3 places on Destin bay that even a guy who had never been on the bay could've chosen. A grass bed by the coast guard station, a rock jetty and bridge pilings. We boated zero fish from these spots. The final spot was fishing a cove that was basically 2 feet deep of crystal clear water and obviously we caught nothing there. At that point he did offer to go back to the grass bed but I had seen enough of his guiding abilities to know we were done. After a long boat ride back, in his anger, at full throttle thru relatively rough water, we get back to the dock. He asks for payment and I ask him what he thinks is fair. He states full price is what he thinks is fair. I told him that was really BS but didn't hesitate to provide the QR code for payment. After scanning the code I mentioned to him that he might want to pursue a different line of work since he obviously wasn't very good at finding catchable fish. I have seen better equipment at garage sales too. Half the reels didn't work properly and we all had issues with that. All of that aside, we paid in full but I did not tip him and we started our drive home. At this point I started to receive nasty texts from Seth Litton. He said he was going to tell all the captains in the Destin area to never take me or my family out on a guided fishing trip. He called me a cheapskate for not tipping. It was unreal. I received 3 nasty texts in all even after I told him to cease contact with me. I know there are some good guides out there. Anyone can catch fish on a good day. Guides are paid good money to at least catch a few on bad days. And in the rare event you don't, and it has happened in the many times I have done this, they will always offer you a future discount on a trip or discount the trip you just took. Neither of these happened. Looking back, from the poor equipment, the fact he didn't even catch local water bait, the places we fished, etc., I should've known this guy just simply wasn't up to the task. It's a shame it cost me 550.00 to learn that. Due to all of this I will probably never take a trip sponsored by Captain Experiences again. People will say there are 2 sides to every story but what I have stated here is 100% factual truth.

Steve D. with Seth L. of Niceville, Florida

Great to work with, answered all questions we had for him. Very nice and prompt in what he was doing, kept the party active and ready to fish. Encouraged us along the way, would refer him to anyone and look forward to hopefully enjoying some fishing again with him one day!

We had A stellar day on the water with Captain Seth. He was at the dock ready to go when we arrived. The night before he had suggested we skip the bay and fish the gulf which ended up being the right choice. The day was beautiful with 2-3 foot swells. We saw dolphin on the way. We enjoyed the ride out to the first fishing spot with Seth providing insights to the area as well as giving us a rundown on the day and the fish we would be catching. Before Captain Seth could grab the second pole, my son was already pulling up the first fish, a large red snapper. Out of season, bummer! That set the tone. We caught fish all day and ate a portion of it that night. The 5 of us on the boat all took turns at brining in Amber Jacks and we were able to keep the two biggest ones. More than once we had 3 poles with fish on at the same time. Two poles with fish on to many times to count. Seth was fun to be with. He was attentive and personable. It was a blast watching him help my daughter bring a large amber jack. It was a great day with my family and captain Seth. I will recommend him to my family and friends. A great way to spend the day away from the crowds. Loved it.

We had a great time with Nick. I love when a guide is so determined to get you on the fish that they’re almost stressed when they’re not biting. Nick refused to allow the fish to hide. He busted his butt to get everyone to their red snapper limit and we even ended up fishing a bit over the time we had allotted to make sure we had our best shot. We had a blast, and I would definitely recommend Nick. We’re going home with a cooler full of snapper, so that’s a win!
