Accomplishments:

75+ Guides (50% MoM Growth): We've streamlined our guide outreach and onboarding process to allow you to Search It, Book It, Live It with more quality, licensed and insured guides. We're excited to present deeper fishing trip density across Texas, from Striped Bass and Catfish on Lake Texoma, to Mahi Mahi out of Corpus Christi, to Redfish and Speckled Trout in South Padre.

MassChallenge Texas Wrap-Up: Captain wrapped up the MassChallenge Texas in Houston program on a high note at the Showcase + Finale event last week. Our table was busy all night- shoutout to the fresh newsletter followers who signed up at the event! We made substantial improvements to our business through the MassChallenge program and are excited to be a part of the MassChallenge global community moving forward.

Spreading the Word: Captain's not "going viral" (yet), but there's a strong buzz building. Our social media accounts continue to garner attention (especially on Instagram), our newsletter ranks are growing, and we have a few PR pieces in the works. Trip Description:

John controls prime access to the coldest water within a mile of the Canyon Lake Dam, with the least amount of angling pressure and very little "tube traffic", even on a busy late-summer weekend. Such conditions set the stage for amazing angling opportunities just an hour south of Austin, and three hours west of Houston.

John: "While our Texas Trout are no fools, The Guadalupe River is a great place for beginners and experienced anglers alike to hone their skills with high numbers of fish and a good chance of hooking into Trout over 20 inches.

We offer full and half-day guided float trips on sturdy Aire Whitewater Rafts equipped with fishing frames with plenty of room for 2 anglers and a guide. All equipment, flies, high quality fly rods (welcome to bring anything you like to use) and waders (if needed) are provided. Non-alcoholic beverages provided on all trips and lunch is provided on full-day trips.
