What started as a way to make booking fishing guides easy quickly matured into an all-out effort to Unlock the Outdoors for all. To us, the status quo of booking outdoor sports is fundamentally broken for both adventurers and guides.

In order to book a trip, adventurers search online hoping the limited information they find is accurate. If you’re lucky enough to hear back, you’ll learn the trip is twice as expensive as the website says or that your guide just isn’t available. Your reward for hitting the jackpot (booking a trip) is running to an ATM at 5am to withdraw $1,000 in cash and meeting at an unknown location in the dark...

Guides experience their own set of problems: fielding calls and texts all day isn’t fun for anyone, especially while you have a client on-board. And managing their online presence can be challenging; it’s costly and time consuming to create websites, pamphlets, and other marketing material, and often when someone calls to book a trip, they want to go out on popular weekend days and guides frequently have to turn down trip requests due to scheduling conflicts.

We have worked to solve these fundamental issues in the process of booking a fishing trip.
