We hope those in Texas have recovered from the storm. Our team at Captain took turns losing power and water and now that it's 70 degrees and sunny in Austin, last week just feels like a bad dream...
If only it was. Winter Storm Uri left a devastating impact on Texas, including our Texas ecosystems. Up and down the coast, water temperatures dropped to the 40's and 30's causing widespread fish kills.
Conservation will be the key to a quick and full recovery, which is why we've launched our Help Bring Texas Fisheries Back Campaign. More below.
Read up on the origins of Winter Storm Uri, the fish kill it caused, and how we can Help Bring Texas Fisheries Back:
"At Captain Experiences, we believe introducing more anglers to the sport is good for conservation- if more people learn to enjoy our natural resources, they'll learn to respect and protect them as long as they understand how."

Review of the Week:
"Our trip was perfect- Richard is very knowledgeable of the lake and the fish behaviors. If you want to catch a limit of fish you won’t be disappointed!"
