If you are looking for an adventure, this is it! This gator hunt takes place on private property just outside the town of Anahuac, Texas, known as the "Gator Capital of Texas". This is where Texas Gator Fest is held each year, and folks come from all around to see who can bag the biggest gator! On this trip, you'll use the traditional hook-and-line method, but if you're interested in bowhunting please let us know. A typical hunt consists of our guests showing up the afternoon before to set lines, then waiting overnight before going out to check them first thing in the morning. If you prefer, the guide can set your lines, and all you have to do is drive down once your gator is on the line. Once dispatched, we will load your gator and take it to the local processor, or you may take it to your own preferred processor wherever that may be.
