Galveston bay fishing guides are honed in on the Speckled Trout and Redfish, with a few Flounder in the mix. Captain Cole hosted a Galveston jetty fishing charter and got into the Sheepshead and Sharks too!
"The Speckled Trout are starting to hold on reefs all over the Galveston Bay System. Better bites for me are in the morning hours. Fishing has been great all over the bay system. All fish seem to be holding in 4 to 5 ft of water. Bait is live shrimp with croaker coming into play now. The rain does not seem to affect the bite much so let's go fishing- Tight Lines!" - Captain Mike Meza
"Still fishing the Texas City complex using live shrimp along the rocks. Also the Galveston Causeway is holding Speckled Trout and a few Redfish. West Galveston Bay is holding lots of Gafftops." - Captain Michael Cacciotti
"Galveston Shark fishing charters have arrived and the Sheepshead are still here also along with some Speckled Trout." - Captain Cole Griffith
"Good week on our Galveston bay fishing trips between some pretty bad weather." - Captain Ralph Frazier
"Rockport fishing trips: Speckled Trout are transitioning to grass, shell and sand. Redfish are holding over grass and scattered potholes- Look for bait working shorelines and around structures, and throw topwater baits up against shorelines in 2' or less of water. Work your plastics, suspending baits across edges, drops and over scattered potholes. Down South Lures super model and burner shad working well along with Marker54 lures. Mullet run and jerk shrimp either under popping cork or free lined." - Captain Chris Thompson
"What a day on Sam Rayburn fishing for Crappie! We caught a boat load and the Wilsons were an absolute blast to fish with." - Scott Pierce
"Decker Lake - We are having great success by targeting Shad spawns early in the morning, and then later slowing down with soft plastics in the submerged vegetation." - Austin fishing guide Ander Meine, The Bassquatch
"Our Biloxi fishing charters have been crushing the Bull Reds. Come get in on some!" - Captain C-Bo
"The best Destin fishing charters are offshore and we're getting into the Red Snapper now that they're in season." - Captain Matt LeBrasseur
"Our best Hilton Head fishing charters of the week got on some Sheepshead and Black Drum inshore. Our trips nearshore got us some great Kingfish and Sharks." - Captain Jon Evereets
"These guys were a blast! We caught some nice Redfish and a bonus Shark!" - Captain Jesse Riddle
"Wahoo is for dinner! Lots of White Marlin and a few Blue Marlin biting. Inshore boats are always on the heat with our year-round Tarpon fishery here in San Juan, Puerto Rico!" - Captain Angel Muntaner
