Join Captain Shane at 6 a.m. for a morning excursion scoping out some of the jetties in the Galveston Bay complex. On this trip the bait will consist of live shrimp and/or croaker. You'll be targeting giant black drum, speckled trout, and redfish, depending on the time of year and the temperature of the water. On this trip, you'll choose between an 8-hour or 12-hour deep sea excursion between 40 and 80 miles off the shore of Galveston. On the 8-hour trip, we'll head about 40 miles offshore targeting red snapper, kingfish, mangrove snappers, triggerfish, Spanish mackerel, and mahi mahi. On the 12-hour trip, we will be between 70 to 80 miles offshore (blue water) red snapper, kingfish, wahoo, tuna, mahi mahi grouper, amberjack, and always a possibility of a sailfish.
