"Catches have consisted of a mixed bag of fish. We have caught a variety mostly on live shrimp under popping corks. Weather has been unsettled and the late season cold fronts will be set backs. I have been fishing the middle of Galveston Bay around Eagle Point. Water conditions overall remain good and bait supply at Eagle Point Fishing Camp is adequate. God willing fishing should continue to get better. Many Blessings to all." -Captain David
"Galveston continues to produce fair to good catches. As usual I have been targeting speckled trout and redfish. Live shrimp has been our go to bait for both species. At present we are using medium to large shrimp from the Galveston channel. Soon the local brown shrimp will dominate our live wells. That will draw the trout and reds into the marsh. We continue to get higher and higher tide levels. This will also bring the fish in to the shallow water marshes."-Captain Harry
