We couldn't be more excited about current fishing conditions and what they mean for fishing throughout Summer 2020. Galveston Bay fishing guides are coming back with quality Speckled Trout and Redfish. Venice fishing guides report stud Redfish left-and-right with limits of Speckled Trout as well.
And Florida fishing guides are off to the races! Key Largo fishing guides are snapping pics of Permit, Bonefish, Jack Crevalle, Snapper, and Grouper, West Palm Beach fishing charters are catching GIANT Kingfish, and Capt. Scott is also catching Kingfish, along with Snapper, Tuna, and Amberjack on his Riviera Beach fishing trips!
Speckled Trout bite is on fire with Redfish and Flounder biting when you can find 'em. Wind has been an absolute pain, but fishing is fantastic when you can get out there.
"Speckled Trout are starting to hold on reefs all over the Galveston Bay System. Better bites for me have been on the incoming tides. Redfish are holding along rock jetties. Fishing has been great all over the bay system so let's go fishing. All fish seem to be holding in 4 to 5 ft of water. Late season fronts sometimes make it tough but we can usually grind out our boxes of fish." - Captain Michael Meza
"Weather and high wind has still been a challenge, but we are still managing to put some good boxes of Redfish and Speckled Trout together. When we are able to we are Drift Fishing, but also anchoring when it's too windy to drift. Fishing should get even better the next couple of weeks." - Captain Joey Ybarra
"Galveston Bay has still been heating up for the Gulf Coast King. The weather has been good on some days, while the winds have made other days hard. Speckled Trout and Redfish are being caught so anytime you can go fishing is better than not going at all." - Captain Jesse Francisco
"Galveston Jetty fishing is good for Sharks, Speckled Trout, and Sheephead." - Captain Jason Woods
"Today’s Galveston fishing report: today was a very windy day on the Galveston Bay, and overall, fishing was slow. Before the wind picked up, the North Galveston Jetty was holding Speckled Trout on live bait. Most of the bays were off color because of the high winds. We caught a few Flounder also today using live shrimp. Be safe!" - Captain Mike Cacciotti
"West Galveston Bay and East Galveston Bay are heating up on Speckled Trout. The Galveston Jetties are producing good numbers of Sheepshead, Speckled Trout and slot Redfish. The Galveston beachfront is producing Sharks, Jack Crevalle and Spanish Mackerel in good numbers." - Captain LG Boyd
"Everyday, Bull Redfish are hanging out somewhere. Great day with Mark and Clarisa from Texas. Never a dull moment when fishing out of Venice, La." - Captain Chad Rudolph
"It was a great day getting away from the everyday stresses of life. A beautiful sunrise to start and a full box of nice Speckled Trout to finish- you can’t ask for anything better than that. Now is the time to get on some big Speckled Trout." - Captain Jimmy Corley
"Tarpon season is in full swing in Islamorada with thousands of fish on bridges channels and flats. Now is the time of year to make grand slams look easy with Bonefish and Permit feeding together on the flats. The fishing off the reef is also on fire- Mutton Snapper and Grouper are just a couple of awesome fish to catch only a couple miles off shore." - Captain Ben Trainer
"The Blackfin Tuna have been around, the Kingfish bite has been solid and the bottom fishing is getting good! We've also been getting Sailfish everyday!" - Captain Scott
"Fishing with son Michael, granddaughter Rylee, and Mike's girlfriend Kaylee. We caught a 60 lb Kingfish, and Rylee caught one and Kaylee got one. Fished in 130 ft off West Palm Beach, Florida." - Captain Rudy
