Galveston fishing reports are on fire this week with notable increases in Redfish and Speckled Trout. Book one of our Galveston fishing charters today!

A little ways down the Texas coast, Matagorda offshore charters reported limits of Yellowfin Tuna and Wahoo this week while inshore, Matagorda Bay produced quality Redfish and Speckled Trout.

"West Bay is good for Speckled Trout and Redfish on live shrimp or soft plastic. Look for jumping Mullet or small bait fish on the flats. Good luck." - Captain Mike Cacciotti

"Fishing is still holding steady over shell. Fish have started to transition to where they need to be. Speckled Trout and Redfish are hungry and aggressive with this warmer weather. Fishing is starting to pick up in East Galveston Bay and West Galveston Bay. The Galveston Jetties have also remained steady for Sheephead and oversized Black Drum when weather allows. "Fishing is good in East Matagorda Bay near the grass edges due to the higher tides, and also drifting scattered shell. West Matagorda Bay continues to produce solid numbers of Redfish wading the south shoreline. 4) Rockport, Texas:

"Rockport area....topwater action has been fantastic!! Throwing Spook Jr, One Knockers, and Rapala Skitter Walks. Whatever topwater bait you like, as long as it has a white belly, will get the job done. We're having success looking for bait working up shallow to 2.5' of water. Grass and mud still hold fish, and be sure to incorporate the major and minor tide swings in your fishing day." - Chris Larry

"Musky fishing on Pymatuning Reservoir was excellent this last week with unseasonably warm weather and water temps. We managed to boat 15 Muskies in only 20 hours of being on the water. This approaching cold front and the approaching spawn should put a halt to things for a short while, but should pick right up to where it was once things start to stabilize." - Captain Brian Clark
