"We've been fishing San Louis pass areas and adjacent flats to any gulf entrances, free lining with live bait on incoming tides. We are still seeing some birds work out in mid bay humps with balls of shrimp underneath them. That pattern is almost come to an end but still some keeper trout under them. Live shrimp, gulp, live target or marker 54 shrimp under a cork."-Captain Nick

"Fresh water runoff from the recent rains are finally starting fade away. Lots of reds are being caught in the marsh in muddy water mixed with bait. Wade fishing for trout has picked up using croakers. Finding them in shallow guts mixed with grass and sand early and chasing them a little deeper through out the day."-Captain Brandon

"Trout fair on soft plastics and croaker to 25”. Redfish fair to good on live shrimp shad and soft plastics up on the flats and tight to the bank. Lots of fresh water still coming down the pipes! Trout and reds starting to pick up some! Look for the grass and sand pockets!! Black drum fair on dead shrimp around structure! Some bulls at the end of the jetty’s! Water temps from 76 to 80 degrees - Tight lines everyone be safe out there this weekend!"-Captain Larry
