Mike knew the bay very well and did his best to put us on fish. I only had two issues with the trip. It might just be his personality, but I found him to be condescending when I asked questions. I also think he fishes too much. It was like we paid to take him fishing.

Rick M. with Mike K. of South Padre Island, Texas

Ladies loved the trip and caught big fish. One trout was 24" and was released due to conservation rules. One of our reds needed a tag to keep. Highly recommend Alana as a fun and knowledgeable fishing guide in SPI.

Do you want to go fishing or catching? That is a question Captain Jeremiah will definitely answer for you with a resounding "We're going Catching!". He and his boat, The Classic, are based out of Port Isabel where Captain Jeremiah grew up and acquired the skill, knowledge and love for fishing. You might think that you are just going fishing, I mean catching; however, with Captain Jeremiah, you get a lesson on the past, present and future of Laguna Madre, Long Island, Brownsville Ship Channel and the surrounding area, as well as, an occasional sea turtle, shark and dolphins sightings. But let's talk about why are here.....Fish! Captain Jeremiah knows just the right areas to hit and will put you right on top of those Big Reds and then it's time to work it hard. The four of us limited out in the slot range in about three hours, but we were having a blast catching and releasing those that didn't meet the slot requirement....sometimes four hooked at the same time. The last hour, before we headed back to port, was spent trolling which produced a nice Spanish Mackerel and a pretty large Ling. Trust me, next time I go out on a Fishing Charter, it will be with Captain Jeremiah on his Catching Charter!

We had a great time! Emilio and Jesse did everything they could to get us some fish despite some difficult circumstances that were out of everyone’s control. We would definitely book this fishing trip again.

It was an excellent fishing trip. Fast pace. Jeremiah was on point. My 7 year-old and 5 year-old loved it and will remember it the rest of their lives. Thank you Jeremiah!
