trip description for Charleston, SC Offshore in Mount Pleasant

The ocean is big. Really, really big. You never quite know what might jump on your hook, but we'll always have a plan based on season, weather and your interests. Some days that plan calls for running a couple of hours to deep water to troll and staying on it all day after mahi, tuna, king mackerel or even billfish. Other days call for finding active bottom and hunting sea bass, snapper and grouper. Others, my personal favorite, combine the two. Throw in a cobia or a shark now and again and it's always interesting. Just remember, try as we may, it's still called "fishing", not "catching". We'll also decide early what you may wish to take home. Billfish and sharks, we'll release to catch again another day and to keep our ecosystems healthy. What you wish to keep, we'll be happy to clean and bag for you, and even offer some suggestions on how to prepare if you'd like. For the 2024 season, a 12 hour offshore or combined trip is $2,950. 6 hour nearshore trips are $1,900. 6 passengers maximum, includes bait, tackle, ice, fishing license, soft drinks and water. Does not include alcohol, food or gratuity for the hardworking Mate. Prices subject to fuel surcharge in response to price spikes. Read More
