Morning and full-day trips will typically depart at sunrise (6:00 am summer and 7:00 am winter). If schedule allows we can adjust departure times to accommodate your requests. Evening departure times will depend on the time of year. Consumption of alcoholic beverages is allowed in moderation. However, if the consumption of alcohol becomes a safety issue, we reserve the right to terminate your trip early without a refund. You must always follow the captain’s instructions while on board. Our most important concern is your safety and the safety of everyone on board. You will be required to sign a Waiver and Release of Liability Agreement prior to boarding. You'll be targeting tarpon, bull reds, kingfish, jackfish and sharks, so get ready for some reelin'. The type of fishing will depend on the conditions, but you could be trolling lures, sight casting to pods of tarpon, or drifting natural bait. We will meet at a predetermined location that is best for you and provides quick access to fishing. I provide the rods, reels, tackle and bait for the day. I just need you to bring your drinks and snacks in a small cooler and to make sure everyone has a valid fishing license. We will fish from my 24’ Sea Pro with Suzuki 200 hp engine to get there fast, using live bait most days; we will fish reefs, jetties or other structure around Galveston Bay. Once we are done we will return to the dock where I will clean and filet your fish and package them in gallon ziplock bags. Do we fish if it’s raining or windy? Safety is a priority. If there are severe storms in the area or if the wind is out of control, I’ll suggest we delay or try to reschedule the trip.
